Nope. You can connect to your Ad-Hoc network too.

Hmm, then I suppose doesn't really matter much whether it's tethered or untethered. How many of us here often fully shut it down? unsure.gif

I don't normally shuts down it but when you use 3rd party apps, there's a higher chance of your iPod will get hung or crash. In my case, I had to re-JB the iPod for like.. 3-4 times while I'm customizing using "Category" app.

Now I had restore back to Original Firmware biggrin.gif

Maybe you can try google around for some US address with the correct area code phone number,
and 1 more thing, some state in US do charge tax and some still don't (as far as I know).

By the way guys, I really need help at the moment.
Updated my firmware to the latest but then my iTunes stuck with this "Verifying iPod Software..."
and my iPod are showing the plug in to iTunes.

Quite troublesome without my iPod as I made it a part of my life. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Added on February 3, 2009, 9:08 amThe loading bar in iPod would run only to 50% and it'll reboot and showed Connect to iTunes then in iTunes would pop out Verifying iPod Software...

This is so frustrating.

You can purchase a gift card/cert code, and use it to open an US iTunes account.
First make sure that you have selected United States under the iTunes Store main page.
Click Redeem at the right hand side, enter the code, and choose to open a new account (make sure you're not logged in).
Then just enter in the details respectively.
You can leave the credit card field blank.
For the address, just use any. I used a McD's address tongue.gif

So don't worry, you can get em wink.gif

I've used once, direct uninstall. lulz.. Categories = Crap

Btw, you can use Respring (soft-resetting) under SBSetting. Usually i use SBSetting to hide the apps then use searcher or SBSetting again to launch the apps that were hidden.

You don't need to jailbreak for BeejiveIM to run in background. You can set it in Settings-BeejiveIM-Session Timeout.
