2. prestige hamster or harry hamster 3. bedding (anything except pine beddings) 4. wheel 5. food bowl 6. water bottle 7. hideout 8. bowl for toilet 9. non-clumping toilet sand (non-clumping cat litter) 10. bathing sand (only for dwarf hamster) |

Hey guys , I am new im adopting hamster here ! anyway i want to ask you guys about hamster food.. where do you guys place the hamster food ? In the small bowl??? i put the food there but they spill it out all over the cage so is it okie if the food are mix with the beeding?????? How bout the amount of food should i put?? Need more guide from the pros here..

one of hammie is fat and lazy always sleep doesnt seems to move is this normal??? or they need more exercise like putting them into hamster ball??

Depend what time they are sleeping. They usually will be active when we are sleeping. Their timing is the other way round with our timing. Do you have a wheel for them to run in the tank. If hamster exercise ball, can't put them inside for too long, about 10-15 mins max only to avoid stress for the hamsters. What hamster do you have? |

yes yes yes...that's normal for long-haired... hehe unless u comb every other minute lo...
long but not fat means need to pump up hehe... proshop, try and get better dry food la... recommended one is harry hamster/ prestige... can buy online that's wat i learn from this thread la.... though my boys both still not chubby for me... Long haired are always messy, just like my SamSam boy. His hair always get tangled with bedding and I gotta trim his hair for him before it get worse. If the hamster is more than 2 months old, it's hardly get improve by their size, maybe just a bit different with good food. Your JOJO seems already more than 2 months old if I'm not wrong. Sometimes, their genetic also affect their growth in size. |
