yes yes yes...that's normal for long-haired... hehe unless u comb every other minute lo...smile.gif

long but not fat means need to pump up hehe...

proshop, try and get better dry food la... recommended one is harry hamster/ prestige... can buy online smile.gif and smoothie and fresh veges and fruits...

that's wat i learn from this thread la.... though my boys both still not chubby for me...

Long haired are always messy, just like my SamSam boy. His hair always get tangled with bedding and I gotta trim his hair for him before it get worse. If the hamster is more than 2 months old, it's hardly get improve by their size, maybe just a bit different with good food. Your JOJO seems already more than 2 months old if I'm not wrong. Sometimes, their genetic also affect their growth in size.

yess, mine definately more then 2 months old, i got him on 19 july 2008.. he used to be small, but i can see the size difference now.. i think its because he is growing hehe.. its ok to trim their hair is it? it wont affect them in any way?

Hi all..

i recenlty moved back to my hometown and i think my hamster named jojo is in stressed.. seems like he is losing weight.. i think he is not used to the new environment.. back in where i used to live jojo runs arround freely every night, climbs everywhere and hides anywhere he wants till my bedtime i will put him back into his cage..

Here, he cant do those stuff, because of the furnitures and all, very difficult to let him walk freely...i pity him.. is there any advice any of u can provide me? im trying to make my room " jojo friendly" theres alot of hole to cover.. i have the runnng ball.. but jojo doesnt like it..as soon as i put him in it, in 5mins he will shit.. alot.. i take tht as a sign of nervous, scared? since young he played in the ball.. once he got used to running without the ball, he is not used to the ball anymore...

or maybe im just too worried? could be jojo is old? JUly 19 will be our 1st year anniversary togther.. im not sure what was his age when i bought him.. Please advice, Thanks all!
