My ham is called Squeezy, cause it likes to Squeeze into tight places, it don't like the house which came togather with the cage, it just likes it up in the tunnel.
Fed a small piece of starfruit last night, it enjoyed!!!! The size was half the size of a 5cent coin. More or less la, is that ok? Too much/little?

Grape not really becoz of the sourness of it...Grape skin contains oxalic acid that could cause damage to liver... same thing for human and animals...

Ok, noted. Thx. I think I also won't feed grape la, cause expensive. Papaya and apple maybe. Hehe biggrin.gif

I only know they can do that last night. I put some foods at a corner, went bath, then it was gone. After inspecting, I notice half of the food is in the tunnel, since I want it to eat/know the food there, I transfer all the food back there from the tunnel. Then me and my GF saw it stuffing it down, was amazed! We were like 'Hey, Squeezy, chew first', then it ran back to the tunnel, place all the foods back there. Sobs. Took some pictures last night, will post later, quality not so good though.

she will take the guazi from my hand..
and run back to her home..then eat slowly inside..
when she finnish..she only will come to me again for more...

Mine also, but instead of going into the home, it went into the tunnel. I think thats the home for the little fellow. Only sometimes Squeezy will stay there and eat.

Cute solid cream syrian you got there. Still young about 2-4 weeks old. But can grow nice and chubby if feed with the right food and Taro smoothie.

Don't want to splash cold water but the wheel is not suitable for syrians. Get at least an 8" wheel. Better use those plastics (can't remember the name. GP thread got people use for their GP cage) for the 2nd floor platform to prevent your hammy from injuring his/her leg instead of those kitchen towels.

If can change to a 2 feet plastic tank would be good as Squeezy will start chewing on the metal bars sooner or later. And he will get rust poisoning if long term metal bar chewing is allowed.

QUOTE(TO DO LIST @ Squeezy)
Things to do now:
1) Get good food
2) Find something solid to be the platform on second floor.
3) Find a buyer for current cage (Bought on Monday, price tag still sticking) *You guys know any buyers? Will get pictures of the cage hopefully by this week.*

Things to do in future *No money liao, so this have to wait*
1) Change cage to tank
2) Get 8" wheel

Maybe later next time when I have money I will change to a tank, for now just spent more or less RM100 for my Squeezy. Hehe. And yes, it has started chewing on the cage, we thought that it wanted to escape or something, cause it keep looking for exits, when I open the cage, it knows and tries to rush out while I am fixing some of the things in the cage. Really rascal. Hehe, but cute nevertheless.

So its a Syrian. Hehe.I think I will go get some Taro smoothie, though I don't really know what it is or how to prepare etc, I notice after some random reading on this thread, alot people feed their Ham with smoothies, and I noticed Frozen smoothies too. Hehe, will try to get it for Squeezy next week, since I got free 'UP' Premiere Ticket from Nuffnang, go buy before watch movie.

THX a million ya
