QUOTE(sharkie28 @ May 11 2009, 12:38 AM) how old is your hammie? old hamsters tend to play less( based on my experience)... he is 6 months old.......erm...im` juz woried ~ tq!if it's young young and not playing with his wheel, i don't think there's nothing to worry about...i've had hamsters that run less in their wheels...perhaps you can try giving them more ball-time( not more than 15 minutes though)... as long as he/she is drinking and eating well, then i don't think there's any prob with your hamster. |

QUOTE(sharkie28 @ May 11 2009, 12:49 AM) what wheel are you using? perhaps it is too small? are you using the wodent wheel? i`m using the wheel provided in habitrail ovo suite...do i have to change it???my current syrian hamster never liked running in his wodent wheel( i know, ITS WEIRD!)...But all my other hamster loved running in those wodent wheels! so, what i do nowadays is just give him more ball-time...and now i thought of weaning him into a open-wheel(such as Comfort wheel) and see if it works. |
