QUOTE(vergas @ Dec 20 2008, 11:58 AM) Got another 2 tanks, 1 for syrian (Brown) and another for RC (Golden). Seems that they like to use hay as their hiding place and use it to build some sort of nest. when u hold ur hamster (i forgot its name) in your hand then u use ur finger to belly rub it. lolI think the noise is more from the fountain pond for my guppies. Added on December 20, 2008, 11:59 am I'm still waiting for Nezu to teach how to do this. QUOTE(odd_mochi @ Dec 20 2008, 12:01 PM) oh...dat's a mooncake box...my fren cut the thing to two...then gave one piece to me... then how did u attach the hook to hand iti put the box to the level where toph can climb up into it... can put treats inside oso..hehe... @iced wat toys do you give oreo so far? so far, wodent wheel and cardboard rolls |

QUOTE(odd_mochi @ Dec 22 2008, 10:56 PM) wat bedding is suitable for long haired aa...? BC is quite pricy as compared to wood shavingsi know breeder celect...but if only put BC...i read somewhere in this thread, it will finish very fast right? Wood shavings = RM 7-8 BC = RM 22 but BC lasts longer because it absorbs better (less smelly) so you hv to change it less often. plus its better for long hair it kind of evens out in the long run. or u can mix it a bit, like what i do |

QUOTE(hitz @ Dec 27 2008, 09:40 AM) I'm also having 2 syrian hamster staying together. Seem ok to me. Just hope that don't breed only.. Hehehe.. by nature, they are territorial creatures. and best to live solitary. yes yours might stay together well for now. but they might fight later. or ur pair could be an exception. that doesnt mean all other syrians are like that. |

QUOTE(odd_mochi @ Dec 30 2008, 07:48 PM) i left Toph for 3days, with 2 standard size food bowl filled with dry food... and wen i came back, still got leftovers... it depends on how much ur hamster eat i guess... if u already know how to estimate how much your hammy usually eats, then i think should be ok.... just don't leave fresh veges...and make sure the room u put the hamster in is well ventilated and not too hot.... QUOTE(iluv2zzz @ Dec 30 2008, 09:29 PM) I left my XB for a week before. I left a full mountain and there is left over. But again, like odd_mochi says, it depends on how much of your hamster eat. thanks I just put lots of food and hope for the best. their place is quite cool - esp if the door wont be open for 5 days. I put it in the living room which extends all the way to the kitchen so got big airy space This post has been edited by IcedNyior: Dec 31 2008, 12:02 PM |

QUOTE(hanboy @ Jan 15 2009, 04:55 PM) Hey guys , I am new im adopting hamster here ! anyway i want to ask you guys about hamster food.. where do you guys place the hamster food ? In the small bowl??? i put the food there but they spill it out all over the cage so is it okie if the food are mix with the beeding?????? How bout the amount of food should i put?? Need more guide from the pros here.. dont worry about the food mixed with the bedding. they like to do that.about the amount - put a bit first and see if its finish. the next day, give more. When u see that its not finished, that means that the amount before that is the perfect amount |
