QUOTE(fendy87 @ May 11 2009, 12:40 AM) what wheel are you using? perhaps it is too small? are you using the wodent wheel?my current syrian hamster never liked running in his wodent wheel( i know, ITS WEIRD!)...But all my other hamster loved running in those wodent wheels! so, what i do nowadays is just give him more ball-time...and now i thought of weaning him into a open-wheel(such as Comfort wheel) and see if it works. |

QUOTE(fendy87 @ May 11 2009, 01:11 PM) too small eh?? coz i`ve read in which site i dun remember saying that ovo wheel is suit for all hammy...ermM~~ btw thankz!! The wheel that comes with the Ovo is too small for syrians. Syrians requires at least 8 inch wheel. You can still use the current wheel if your syrian is still small. But replace it with a bigger wheel as it the small wheel will cause their backs to have problems due to long term use. |

QUOTE(eric138 @ May 11 2009, 03:26 PM) WW won't get as big as a syrian. So can use.Added on May 11, 2009, 7:19 pm QUOTE(pisces88 @ May 11 2009, 05:27 PM) ic.. then nothing i can do? -.- coz i see if he continue biting, it will rust.. and possibly poison him.. Because the rust taste salty and the hammy likes the taste. Better change to a tank as the rust will poison the hammy. This post has been edited by blurjoey: May 11 2009, 07:19 PM |
