Hello, anyone ask this before?

If AKPK customer wanna extend moratorium beyond Sep20, need to call bank to apply individually?

Any AKPK users doing this and success/failure?

Thanks.

I am not aware of any offer for AKPK to extend the moratorium. But you may want to contact their customer service and check with them directly at 03-2616 7766.

I asked AKPK before about this matter. AKPK cannot extend the moratorium, but AKPK can help to reschedule your monthly payment to lower sum due to the MCO Covid-19. They did it for me, actually it is even better, because they reschedule lower sum for me for more than 6 months.

You may try call them to help you.

No point calling bank, bank will not help you, especially us.

Agree. I already tried talking to my bank...waste of time. They are not interested. Bank Negara and Banks say in media/public come to talk to us but in reality, totally different story when customer go and visit.

They only want to help company with ++ profits. If you are losing money, very hard. For individual, I think maybank and cimb and ambank are helpful.

Hi,

Can I ask how big is the difference between original monthly payment and after reschedule? And do you need to provide any kind of document? Appreciate if you could share your experience with us here.

The difference depends on your current situation and what have you paid to AKPK. I can say it is substancially lower to assist customer to go through this stormy weather, and hopefully will help in the long run too.

Best is to talk to AKPK directly, and see what they (we tongue.gif ) can propose nod.gif

I see...means really no point calling the bank, because what you said is right, we already under AKPK programme, they won't help us.

Maybe I try to call AKPK, because my case is kinda odd because I still left 2 years (from 10 years max repayment) and I dunno how they gonna extend or lower the monthly payment (for much higher payment later on).

So I think the only success story is to lower the monthly repayment (for 6 months) and pay more on the remaining tenure.

tried to fill up the enrollment in AKPK. but the website is so unstable. sometimes the page to edit your household appears, sometimes it doesnt.

and now, my disposable income is negative and I cant submit it.

just want to clarify, disposible income meaning, your gross income minus your household expenses right?

not including the loan repayment everymonth as these are the one that we are looking to enroll into AKPK.

Hi, I'd suggest to give a call to AKPK customer service when you almost fill the whole thing and there's a few things that you're not sure of. I was having some issue the last time and get instant help by the customer service.

My experience = AKPK = around 15% less.

My experience = CIMB = housing loan = depend on your % of pay-cut or retrenchment due to Covid-19. CIMB is helpful.

of course you can, actually AKPK advice us to go to them as early as possible, before you cant pay the credit card.

I wish I went to them much earlier, save me the hussle listening to those collection unit non-stop calling day and night.

Go AKPK earlier possible.. as mentioned by many in previous replies to you.

Also don't get into all the penalties and legal stuffs which will cost you much more.
