If AKPK customer wanna extend moratorium beyond Sep20, need to call bank to apply individually? Any AKPK users doing this and success/failure? Thanks. |

QUOTE(tonyy2999 @ Sep 29 2020, 10:28 AM) I asked AKPK before about this matter. AKPK cannot extend the moratorium, but AKPK can help to reschedule your monthly payment to lower sum due to the MCO Covid-19. They did it for me, actually it is even better, because they reschedule lower sum for me for more than 6 months. I see...means really no point calling the bank, because what you said is right, we already under AKPK programme, they won't help us.You may try call them to help you. No point calling bank, bank will not help you, especially us. Maybe I try to call AKPK, because my case is kinda odd because I still left 2 years (from 10 years max repayment) and I dunno how they gonna extend or lower the monthly payment (for much higher payment later on). So I think the only success story is to lower the monthly repayment (for 6 months) and pay more on the remaining tenure. This post has been edited by greeny88: Sep 29 2020, 02:38 PM |

Hello, anyone face this issue before? I'm sure someone will face this similar case.
Been under AKPK for the past 8 years, next month is my step up amount for the remaining 2 years. Because previously I was on the same repayment amount for several years, hence the remaining 2 years the step up is more than double of the current repayment amount. Due to economy downhill, company not doing well, part-time job also similar to non-existent, household cost increasing gradually overtime, my kid is OKU, I tried to apply tenure extension to maintain the current repayment amount. Income not increasing, everything is still the same. Anyone do this successfully? Eg. extend tenure 10 years + maybe 2 years? Possible? If AKPK reject, I can't afford to pay the next step up, what should I do? AKPK will kick me out of the DMP programme? Pls enlighten fellow brothers and sisters.... QUOTE(samsungXP @ Mar 2 2021, 12:48 PM) i tot the remainning 2 years repayment will be less ? coz 8 years u should clear already some bank debt No...remaining 2 years will be the most. I'm not sure about others. All banks will take 10 years to clear also...so the first few years you will be paying the interest only. The final years will be the capital. So if you got money, you clear AKPK in the latter stages is not making a big differences in total. |

QUOTE(tonyy2999 @ Mar 2 2021, 02:20 PM) Actually no harm to give it a try to ask AKPK. I asked dy....they said pls provide proof if my cash flow is unable to handle the step up amount, they will bring it into the committee for discussion. Fingers crossed, hope they will give me a helping hand in this.In fact Covid-19 Pandemic is benefiting poor folks like us because all the financial institutions are giving out helping hand. It is a perfect timing to ask AKPK for it. |
