OCBC loan is separated into two and they only finance the car park up to 10 years.

It is the main reason why i chose from RHB. Everything is under 1 loan and only 1 tenor.

my rhb loan was split into 2 but both car park n housing loan is also for the whole 30 yr duration la.

referral fees is 1K if not mistaken. eventhough you booked already you can still call them up to make you case and sign on the referral form. the payout is only applicable after the 1st disbursement (if not mistaken).

there are. housing loan unlike car loans takes a long time to serve.
one need to look at the following eventhough 2 or 3 banks offering the same rates, say BLR-2.1%:
1. term or flexi loan
2. lock in period 3 or 5 years
3. lock in from 1st disbursement or full disbursement
4. exit penalty, 3 or 5% or more
5. if term loan, any limit of capital repayment in a year
and many more.

true in a way. but not all people buy properties are for own stay.
basically depending on the use of the property, one should choose a financing package to suit.
e.g, lowest interest rates for own stay. for flipping, it would be entirely different. wink.gif

Didn't know the tricks back then sad.gif
Yes, by right it should so but unfortunately, the SA told that I am not "eligible" for EPP 12 months payment because I withdraw EPF for the 10% downpayment - which is said to be the requirement for the package/scheme.
I'm going over to the office this Sunday to talk about this with the boss since my SA could not help me much (as he said this is decided by his boss). Meanwhile, I'll see if I could snap some photos of the construction site to share.

Hi kimhoong,

I went to the sales office just now to settle my 10% downpayment.
I managed to get the EPP 0% 12 months payment using my CC. rclxms.gif
Just approached those ladies sitting in the counter straight away, they will get it done for you. thumbup.gif
DON'T approach your SA....
Good Luck!!!!

P/S: Before this I did tell my SA that I will go for EPF withdrawal. But, I changed my plan tongue.gif
