first u have to own a credit card to pay with installment plan.usually the price will be higher 3-5% from the lowest cash price they offer

YL sells cheapest gear, but if there's any competition in Sg Wang I dunno - never been there to check.

FZ28. PQ's one of the best. If you can afford to bump up your budget you can get the LX3 - the best of the best.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but he's asking 'where' can he get instalment plan, not 'what' is instalment plan.

I have come to canon ixus 90 and fujifilm f100fd as my last decision. But panasonic fs20 is considered as well.. can some1 enlighten me?
In dpreview, fujifilm 100fd won the premium compact group, as ixus90 won in ultra compact group. I like the design and large screen of ixus90 but i like the function of fujifilm f100fd.. wide angle, dual image stabilisation(i wonder if ixus's IS counted is dual image stabilisation?), and 5x zooming. Arg..

What's your budget? Though, if your choices are the above, I'd recommend you to go for the 1000D.
Get a 1000D, and save the extra money up. If you want to spend it all though, fork out about RM100 more and get the 450D. I don't think many shops offer installment - but survey around. There might be one.

Yeah,if budget use then should buy EOS 1000d......

I just survey at Low Yat just now, they really sell for RM2399!that was a small kiosk but dunno the name....but if plus Credit Card pay extra 3% then if another 2 years extra warranty pay another 6%.....plus plus sudah jadi RM2600+...but i have no confidence to buy at the kiosk due the service that given is not that good...

Then i survey around again all about the same price, including Sungai Wang Plaza.....then i purchase the 450D for rm 2600 with Nikon 4gb high speed memory card, tripod, canon case and a screen protector(extra - Calendar and String)hehehe.Warranty was given for lens and body for 3 years. But i didnt pay installment, but full payment using Credit Card

Type of camera/lens/accesories : Digital Camera
Budget: 2000
Your Location: KL
Preferable brand : Canon, Nikon, Panasonic (but am open to suggestions)
Type of photography u want to do : Landscape (need wide-angle) and people
Any specific models in mind? : NO
Any specific features u want? : I want wide-angle, fairly zoom (3x or 5x) and really want HD videos and possibility to zoom!

Hey guys, first post here smile.gif

I am traveling through Asia and would like to buy a camera at KL. Unfortunately my Pentax got stolen at Bkk sad.gif

Anyway, the thing is, I am really thinking about the Lumix LX3, it rocks! But it wont zoom while making a video, and that makes me sad. I made a video shot of a friend in Thailand that without the zoom would mean nothing lol.

Any ideas? I am not looking for DSLRs and also the Lumix FZ28 type of body. Want more of a compact one.

Well... I hope there's anything on the market. Or else I will just go with the LX3. I am also willing to go a little bit up my budget if I can get something like that. 3000 max though.

Cheers! thumbup.gif

Edit: Maybe the FX37/38 ??? Cant find here if it zooms or not

I dont think you know enough about DSLRs to be ready for it yet. sad.gif
Single lens means the camera package you buy comes with only one lens lor..
Double lens means 2 lenses are included in the package lorrrrr...
