I been checking price for Panasonic Lumix FZ28 today in sg wang and low yat. Priced range RM 1200 - 1400.
I want know what things to check when to buy the camera , any trick by seller?
How to check all accessories are original??

Between those brands, at 1k, I would go for the W-series Sony instead of the T-series.  Furthermore, you mentioned 1k, and the T700 is much more than that.  However, at 1k, the best buy IMO is the fuji f100fd going for RM999/- at the moment.

I have a problem where my Olympus digicam (FE model) is fall in the pool. I already send to the Olympus Service Centre and they inform me that my camera main board need to be replaced and will cost more than a brand new camera. They advise me to trade-in my camera with new .

I need ur  advise
1) trade in program will last end of this month, is it worth it for me to trade in( they claim it is cheaper than outside)
2) is there any shop that can repair or change the board cheap

maybe he can get it less than 5K. a300 body only is around 2500, plus CZ1680 around rm2500.

Hmm.. Panasonic just released a slew of new models. Any of them are as good/better than the LX3s?

Have you tried your best to bargain? You could ask for a cleaning kit, a flare hood, a CF card, etc. Just try asking and you may get it.

haven't heard good reviews about fuji until now..by the way i checked out the canon ixus 85, no wide lens, so still contemplatin..

tippman, for 1k i guess you cant go wrong with the Ixus 870IS
comes with IS, wide angle lens and noise handling isn't too bad
