For DA, all internet related transactions, the relevant card must first be registered via their secured e-pay system. Pls chk their website for the link.
*

why not use it up paying for petrol. I read from here before got 1 bank delay or dont want to pay back excess $ paid to them. Maybe not all bank the same. Best is still to call the bank.

curious, what loan you want to apply that'll be easier to get with cc? mind to elaborate?

they will refund AFTER you've make the cancellation, which is after the bank confirmed your cancellation, they will issue back a cheque the amount that they owe you. Estimated around 1-2 months. That's what i encountered before for Hsbc and Citibank.

when u are talking about credit score - it's only related to that particular bank's internal credit score. Then yes, it will help if your repayment history is consistent and good.

there is no universal credit scoring that is used in M'sia currently. CCRIS is not a credit scoring system.

But sometimes its hard to spend the exact amount of money you want. Furthermore minimum amount accepted by cash deposit machine is RM5.

No, not necessary. Don't even think you can apply for it anymore. Just register for secure epay service and you can use the card online.
