QUOTE(fikrie @ Dec 11 2008, 03:12 PM) i dun think de exchange rate will be stated in the online statement, unlike mbb.. the amount appear would be in converted value.. i guess u have to call the centre to get the exact rate.. ok. thanks. seem like i got to register cimbclicks at the nearby atm..btw, u need to register for cimbclicks in order to view the online statement.. |

hey guys, is the rate impose by DA usually higher compare to the actual rate?
i call DA cs a while ago asking the exchange for AUD -> RM, and he told me tat the conversion rate by DA as per today is 2.431.. whereby, i check to bank negara, the rate is 2.3787(middle rate at 12 pm) and 2.343 from XE.com at 12:17pm.. geez.. |

i tink i noe why DA charge 2.431 as tat the selling rate, whereby buying rate is 2.334..
if i were to pay by AUD using cc, shud i look at the selling or buying rate? thanks |

thanks. or, can i say we look it differently from the bank? sell for bank means buy for us, and vice versa? |

QUOTE(charymsylyn @ Dec 26 2008, 11:38 PM) Cash advance is always charged at 1.5% p/m interest plus cash advance fee (usually 5% of withdrawn amount) for credit cards in Malaysia. Cash advance fee plus interest is charged from the day you take out withdraw money up to date of full repayment. so, the 1st transaction are normally charge with interest rite?Retail interest is 1.5% p/m (if new account or late payment having occurred more than twice within past 12 months). 1.416% p/m is for people who paid late once or twice within the past 12 months and 1.25% p/m for no late payment within past 12 months. 20-days interest free is only applicable if you have made full payment before due date every month. Each month you do not do so, interest is charged from transaction date (not posting date) till date of full settlement. Transaction/repayment is calculated on FIFO basis. i have made 2 transaction using my DA cc. b4 i made the payment, i do check with the visa rate imposed. the rate is below 2.40 (for AUD-> RM). but, once i check my statement online, i found out tat they charge my 2 transactions by rate of 2.46 and 2.48 respectively.. sigh~ |
