Rule of thumbs, having 2 different credit card companies, one international, one local. That should be more than sufficient. It's unnecessarily and troublesome to have too many credit cards.

if, im so happened, i need to buy the particular item and so happened im at particular merchants, i will just go for it. even with rebate o without rebate.

I got a brochure they were passing around in klcc for their 2-hour new application approval.

- 12 months if existing CL > RM6k
- 18 months if existing CL < RM6k

some of the online transaction doesnt require cvv as well,so should be aware also if expose only credit card number

According to the flyer which I received, DA still got rebate (for Mastercards only). Capped to a maximum spending or RM2.5K or RM50 rebate per card per monthly statement. Valid till 30th April 2009.

Bro ... got another card which give 7% rebate ! It's wayyy better than DA. It's not suitable to mention in this forum coz off topic.

Even if you reject the TnG Zing card you will still receive it in your mailbox. When I applied for MBB petronas last year. I almost fight with the CS because they keep forcing me to take Amex & TnG. i remembered they call at least 3 times to persuade me to take amex as well beside the petronas. End up I screamed at them and said "just send me the damn petronas card or else just cancel my application". Why they always have to make things difficult for ppl. Everytime I have to create big drama when dealing with all these ppl.

In the end I still see the TnG Zing card arrive at my doorstep with the petronas cc, but of course without the Amex.           

actually customers do have their rights/choices to take any 'extras' besides the credit card,i guess those aggressive sales ppl only will force customer to take this take that...

MBB cc no need to activate, u can use it on the spot when u received ur cc.
Same as Citi,SCB,HSBC so far as I know.

Can get 0.5% cash rebate on all retail transaction? The rebate will directly rebate on the retail statement when come out?

Are these both credit card can get rebate?.....need someone confirmation....help....help..... 

I always pay a few days earlier. You don't have to pay exactly on the due date...

That's a limitation on Islamic based CC.
