I fix my B&W sub and its working fine now so I gave it to my brother. He is enjoying it very much now. I want to sell my CHT-12R for RM1000...any takers?

I think this is big enough for me now. I can see some plaster ceiling powder on the floors!

Don't see any Ketam officer around so I just drove straight thru'. Only pay 5% GST for Brunei side. So the price I pay for the PC12-Plus is less then RM3800 ...i don't think anyone can beat this price.

I don't think so. I got discount because of the 7.0 SVS speakers package my friend bought and some very special deal because of the problem encounters during my long ordering process. Then i got some more discount because SVS wrongly calculate the total and have to give some more discount.

whereas he only paid 5%

Can't beat that due to the hefty taxes that need to be paid . Still looking for a reliable company to do the transportation of the goods as I do not want any damage to the boxes. Once everything is settled, I'll let you guys know abt the price.

Yalor I go thru so much troubles to get the PC12-Plus and I do not rush and pay unnecessary cost. So finally a great sub at a great price. But do not use my price as a yardstick as my case is different.

htkaki, you should find a way to bypass ketam. Just check around with some transporter who can find jalan to maybe pay a bit to bypass. Anyway, wait for your pricing. If very sui, then get from you. If not, need to ask my brother in singapore to get a unit and bring in through car.

While bypassing ketam would be good for the buyers, for htkaki running this as a business might pose some risks if ever get caught. Also possibility of dealership being revoked if found to be engaged in duty evasion (but this depends on SVS, don't know if SVS sticky about this).

I get my speaker and amp from China and HK, never pay ketam. They somehow had a way to bypass ketam using certain forwarder.

bro seriosly no need to worry la.. worst case scenerio is pay tax, which u gonna pay anyway if u dont try to avoid it .. if anything also the forwarder will settle for u u dont have to meet them

I got a setup problem need expert advice here?

I did my calibration with the SPL meter base on the instruction on the setup manual provided by SVS. I set all my speakers to 75db with my AVR main volume at 0 with the pink noise from my Denon AVR3805. Then I set the PC12-Plus to 80db with the AVR sub volume to 25% and the volume knob on the SVS at roughly 9 O clock position. With this setting I play some music and movies and the bass is just too soft. I have to turn the volume knob on the PC12-Plus to 12 O clock position to get good bass. At this volume level, my SPL meter reading for my sub is at 95 to 100db.

Did I do something wrong here. Why is my bass so weak when its calibrated to the same level as the other speakers?

Seems like you have similar issue as s6xs9x. Your seating area might be a null area. Try to relocate the sub.

Btw, estimated price for PB/PC12-NSD is RM3,300. PC12-Plus is about RM4,800- RM5,000 and PC13-Ultra at abt RM7K. SB-12Plus (Black) is about RM3,600. AS-EQ1 is abt RM3,400.
