Hi, just want to see how many SVS subs user here and which model.

I've owned a HSU before but it's nothing like SVS, but it's not fair to say HSU is not good, i owned the smallest model of HSU, not big quantity bass but clean and accurate, best for musics.

SVS have loads of bass, but if really want to criticise, then it's the a bit slow and clumsy bass, but that's best for movies.

I've claimed once from SVS, let them know the situation, they email you how to test it, you reply wheter it works, whoosh.....after max 2 weeks, the parts are at your doorstep, though you have to fix it yourself, but there's step by step guide included, very simple and easy to replace. No further question asked, excellent customer service!!

I tot they don't export any cylinders nowadays, is it?

Mine is 20-39+, do share yours.

Oh...my brother have a 20-39, not much diffrent compare to 20-39+, just a bit more powerful & tight bass basically.

Hi,

I hv a pb12plus plain black ed..

I know of another friend (lives in de Klang Valley but works in Pg) who runs a 20-39(I cnt remember whether its an I or + model..) n another guy in de Klang Valley who has de same - in fact they bot together .. oso I know another chap who runs 2 pb10's in JB(works in Sg..).. All our units are bought thru Sg..

Uhm.. de SvS I models are de lowest range then cums Plus n top of de line is Ultras.. de plus should be more powerful than de I models..

Since 2007, they opened international orders for de 'bins'.. they stopped durin 2006(when I bot mine, tat I know..)

So far no issues wif mine thou' I would say mines under used.. N Customer Service is exemplary - I once complained cos my decal(u know de SvS name tag..) came off.. n they shipped 2 new ones for me wif my upgraded(a 12.3) driver I ordered.. fact is I re sticked de older one .. after all..kekeke laugh.gif

Hsu's makes great subs too.. I dare say SvS copied Dr Hsu's designs - remember, Hsu makes 'bins' too .. on which is better well.. I wont go into tat.. suffice to say both hv their followers..

Musical subs are fast n usually sealed .. HT subs nid ports for de lower octaves.. cant compare de 2..

Cheers

Oh, you've upgraded to 12.3 driver, i was very itchy for that but i found it is very troublesm to import it straight, so just gave up.

How about your old driver? collecting dust?

Actually it's very good sounding when using 2 subs, more balance but no more chance to get 1 as pair di.

So few ppl in this forum using?

Ya..

Mine was offered by my Sg mates who wanted to upgr their drivers, so they organised an Mass Order for it .. apparently u nid to disclose ur sub serial no for SvS to verify tat u qualify for de deal.. u must be still under their warranty period of 3 yrs, if after dat period, u can still buy but price is different - xtra 50%, if not mistaken.. So I tot wat de heck.. worst is tat I get a heavy book end or a spare driver just in case mine dies ... kekeke tongue.gif
