the question is - do appearance matter to you? if not, go for Sager.

NP8690. I believe that it has superior cooling compared to the G73. Although it's more bulky and a heavier. Very worth it.

i dont care about bulky .....
i just want a good laptop that can use for 2-3 years .... scare LCD got DP only ...
and then easy to clean up .......

How about the battery life of NP8690 as it has only 3 cells Li-Polymer battery pack?

nVidia GeForce GTX 480M with 2GB of GDDR5. comes with Fermi too possibly the 1st laptop to do so if it releases on time.

only thing is the size of the card ... apparently only available on 17" and above models

no doubt GTX 480M beat HD5870. i dont think 15" laptop will be able to fit in (15" is my standard of mobility+performance )

yea, but if the price is right ... i really wouldn't mind the non-portability Sagers are actually cheaper than miniATX setups with equivalent components

Well I wanna switch my NVidia to the 5870, But then I fear for the GTX 480M. But chances are I will go for the 5870 as thats my only choice for the moment seeing that the 2GB GTX 480M prolly won't fit into my 15".... but Ideally I'd rather have the 2gb 480m if the reports of its Memory value from the Eurocom site is to be believed....

For Sager owners, the 17+ " should be able to fit the 480M right? If Eurocom have incorporated it, Sager would follow suit?

Definitely, since the nVidia 480GT M is inside a Clevo X8100. And Sagers are built by Clevo

any rumors about the estimated price, in RM?
