I think Sager doesn't have any international warranty
*
Yea, I have ask them before regarding on this matter. They definitely are not providing any international or cross border warranty. If anything goes wrong, one has to send back the faulty parts to the original manufacturer. For example, Sager at US.

1 question - does Clevo and Eurocom support their warranty in here, Malaysia?
*

Muahahahaha... After a week. I get my laptop back. Now here are some benchmarks and temps. I'm truly impressed with the upgrade.

if Eurocom are already taking pre-orders i'll say its a 1 month wait maximum biggrin.gif

not too sure about alienware though, since clevo isn't a well known brand, i doubt they'll "feel the competition" .

clevo wait for the food to reach their mouth instead of going out and hunt for food like other brand tongue.gif

Sonic Spyro, do you notice if your fans get louder after changing to HD5870?
I emailed mucro about my fans noise, they told me it's normal with laptop fitted with HD5870.

Thanks man. The box will be sent back next week. IC7's temp... quite ok la. So far the highest I've got for GPU is 90 after trying out BFBC2 at max settings but without AA. CPU... broke to low 70's in the games and benchmarks. sad.gif Should I take a look under the hood to see how they apply the paste?

Could be because the heatsink doesn't really connect with the GPU. Maybe that's why my temps got that high. Maybe I could try the bending thingy that NBR people posted.

Just tested the thing about Nvidia's heatsink sitting properly on the GPU, it's true. There's no overflow of heatsink as compared to the HD 5870. Guess I'd have to mod the can. ~_~
