Non-OS drive I suppose its for storage.
In that case, speed isn't much of an issue actually.

Its better you pick a cheaper 32mb cache drive instead.
Save a few bucks go starbucks. tongue.gif

Doesn't matter really.
First of all it is because... how fast can you download lol. Don't forget, you're in bolehland. laugh.gif

The amount of data you can write on your HDD is piss-small.
So the cache being as big as 64mb wouldn't make any bit of difference either.

eh.. not speed of dl...

i thought bigger cache, can make more buffer so data will not write in so often n make hdd gone faster.

hmm, where is the old news where torrenting makes hard disk die faster, by the way, hard disk does not have limit like SSD NAND

lms2005, hard disks can read/write up to 150 MB/s, USB 2.0 can transfer data up to 30 MB/s and 1 Mbps Streamyx can transfer 125 KB/s (theoretical). You really don't need to worry about hard disk performance issues when it comes to Internet activity.

Basically its true, but I trust Utorrent's in-built Disk cache management feature so no worries

Need Fellows mates in this thread for advice,

My HDD dunno kaput or what. My HDD got 2 partition,

1st partition unable to read/access, 2nd is okay.

Tried to Fix using Scan Now & auto fix, lasted for half a day in the end it shows 'unable to complete'

any idea whats wrong?

internal desktop.
Tried edi, 1st partition tak boleh access and 2nd can access.
Format whole thing installed win7 but after restart, cant open. It will keep reboot at Win7 logo.

what is the hard disk brand? Did you see any bad sector during the scan disk?

Western Digital, Can't see anything, it just running scan for half a day then in the end shows 'unable to complete'

possible partition corrupt. format it, use recovery software scan back those data.

It happen sometimes if ur hdd hv bad sector.
