Problem Encountered : When I open up my contacts or call history, some of the contacts has a +1 appearing at the front of the contact.

i guess ur iphone is from US..coz +1 is country code for US and Canada..
urm..maybe u can restore, jailbreak and after that install Caller id Fix from Cydia..

Did you use BootNeuter to unlock the phone again? Upgrading from 1.1.4 to 2.2.1 also upgrade the baseband so it need to be unlock again. Since you only use quickpwn, I assume you did not use BootNeuter to unlock the phone.

dear all sifus, gotten this unlocked and jailbroken iphone 3g from my cousin, and it cant sync with itunes, it first showed " Itunes cant read the iphone content, please restore the iphone to factory setting..." then it only showed Summary of the iphone in itunes, NO selection for music/photoes/video/apps...

My cousin dun hv any idea the details of jailbroken and unlocking, Can any one please let me know wat i can do to rectify the syncing?

i read earlier pages of this topic and found that a forumer recommended re-authorise the computer after format my PC...please help...

dear all, i hv sucessfully synced the black iphone with itunes...

i think last nite may be itunes connection prob, cos this morning when i plugged in the cable to try again, it detected the iphone and directly asked for setting up of new iphone

and when i try to sync back my apps. it says my apps are not verified. any solution for this (: ?

without accusing you (so don't get hyped up), did you purchase those apps? because licenses issued to purchased apps/music/podcasts/videos are tagged with your apple id and they are unique to you. hence there shouldn't be any reasons on why they will appear as unverified.

no, not at all. i frequently restore both my iphone and computer and there hasn't been any problems to retrieve them from the app store.


however, i cannot speak on behalf on the third party apps, downloaded from cydia as i do not jailbreak mine. but i believe frozzbyte has once told me that there is a dedicated app (from cydia of course) where you can back them up - hassle free!
