on vista, dx10 have no significant performance improvement....yet slower than dx9.0c

hmm,zalman fan usually uses 3 pin so i think no fan speed changeable.. but those fans r usually silent smile.gif

if ure not going to overclock then Gainward 4870 GS 1gb...
if ure going to overclock and kick the living daylights and of the 4870 above and not going to use a lot of AA performance
Zotac GTX 260 216SP AMP2 ... RM1100 only... and came in last friday.

compare to 280GTX it run less watt consuming... rclxms.gif
y i say like this bcoz my psu is silent during gaming but not for 280GTX. shakehead.gif

for me spending RM1k & above for a GC, AA/AF is needed. Without AA/AF its juz like playing consoles laugh.gif laugh.gif .

How do i know either i running DX10 or DX10.1? I'm using Vista SP1 atm. Online updates dint show the directx thinggy but dxdiag show DX10.

Btw any ATI4870x2 users around? Wow my card is HOT. ATI overdrive show around 70-85c when idle to full load crysis. Btw the manual fan doent work even i turn to 100% still same.

Scary is it all ATI4870 or x2 hot like this? No issues on heavy gaming?

i think that is normal temp for 4870x2 nod.gif

If u got Vista SP1, you already have DX10.1, but none of games today support DX10.1 due to TWIMTBP politics.

Just hope that upcoming FarCry2 really support DX10.1 wink.gif
