PMW fan can run at lower speeds with voltage control according to the temp of your proc la . Means when you idle , the fan will automatically slow down = less noise .

This cooler is the best performance/price in market now smile.gif For better thermal paste, u can consider Tuniq. CM is not so famous for their TIM smile.gif

good choice, after reading all the reviews that i can find, bought it today and fix it.

temperature is reduced and happy with my purchase......using stock thermal paste.
use prime95 to load the cpu.
Fan speed also lower compare to stock according to asus pc probe II.

push pull is easy.. one fan pushes air to your cooler and the other pulls air from the cooler

my CPU(i5 750 2.66ghz stock no OC) idle temp is around 33-35C, 100% load under prime95 is around 55C. PC not in air-con room, can this temp be considered as OK?

I've set up push pull, but I've got a problem now. Both are CM BladeMaster 120mm PWM fans, 4 pins. I've connected the rear fan(pull) to the "CPU_FAN" socket, and it's running in PWM mode, fan speed is 1200-1300rpm idle, 1800-2000rpm 100% load. But the front fan(push), is running at very low speed(400-600rpm all the times, even at 100% load), I've connected to 4pin socket too, why is it still running at such a low speed? the speed doesn't vary at all even when full load! I thought idle should be at least 1000-1100rpm, but it's 400-600rpm in both idle and load, I don't understand that, pls HELP!

sometimes stock speed 100%load, it shoots up to 60C, ok too? when i OC a bit to 3.2ghz, idle is around 43C, prime95 100% load 65-70C, ok?

Guy, SPIRE TherMax Eclipse II (SP984B1-V2), SPIRE Gemini (SP986B1-V2-2P) is available in Garage sales. There is many reviews about SPIRE TherMax Eclipse II which is currently top 1 in FrostyTech. However SPIRE Gemini (SP986B1-V2-2P) is lack of review and anyone got idea what is the performance against TUNIQ TOWER 120 EXTREME (REV1) and Noctua NH-D14?
