yeah, my xtraflo i put as front air intake, the sound at full speed is audible but xigmatek 120mm full speed is not audible at some range

u put xtraflo as intake, den how about ur cm hyper 212+ push pull?

i use blademaster lo haha.. i think two same looks better, unless i wanna change two blademaster to xtraflow haha..

Hi guys, I'm thinking to get a cooler for my cpu, but havent decided to either get an air cool or a water cool... my budget for water cool is below rm500, air cool is below rm200... can someone give me some advises?

get the corsair H70 enuf already, RM350 selling in garage sale, on par with high end air cooler

Since ur budget allow, i would recommend air Cooler like Scythe Ninja 3, Noctua NH-D14, Prolimatech Megahelm, Thermalright Venomous.

I personal dun like Corsair H Series, those high end air cooler like NH-D14 smoke H50, H70, but beware the heat sink size too , make sure ur case able to fit it.

how about h50? i am using corsair 600t casing with a rear corsair 120mm fan(i think it is same with the fan provided by h50), can i use h50 with the pull and push to get the same result of using h70??

Ex-H50 user here, Noctua NH-D14 perform better than H50, and on par with H70

juz tried OC my CPU and realized tht i need a cpu cooler... my budget max 200..prefer air cooling...any recommendation?

What im trying to imply is:

Stock cooler.
My pc normal temp is 61.7

then i use prolimatech megashadow + 2 CM 90cfm fan + Gelid GC high performance thermal fluid
temp drop to 37degree C
even at 100% cpu usage all 4 cores, temp is 41-42.

just trying to share my experience

Dude, speedfan is not accurate, try using hwmonitor and realtemp. Btw it does improve alot.

Hey guys. I'm in a dilemma now. Currently I'm using Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer for almost 2 years. Now my Q9550 temps are getting too high for my comfort, highest 86C in one core at 3.45GHz in Prime95 I haven't reapply the TIM since I first use it, plus somebody in my house had thrown it away. I also notice that the fan speed is down to 1600RPM instead of max 2000RPM.

So, I'm thinking,

>> do I need to buy a better cooler than CCF (budget RM150) or,

>> do I just have go buy good TIM and/or new performance fan?

P.S. - I've been reading reviews especially CCF and CM Hyper 212+. All results were mixed lol. Some shows CCF better, some shows CM better.

Problem is... all of the coolers are well above my budget of RM150.

CM hyper 212+ den, rm83 from forumer. Or CM V6 rm169.

V6gt or V8 better? I care only performance...not the design. How much are they?
