anyone good cooler for i5 2500k if i play oc aorund 4.4ghz? budget around rm100-150 like that..

i would recommend cm hyper 212+ and cm v6gt. My cm hyper 212+ can oc up to 4.8GHz, idle temp around 45-50c, stress is around 90c. For 4.5Ghz, my system temp, idle = around 40c, stress around 70c, seems u r expected oc to 4.4Ghz, cm hyper 212+ will do anything well for this state. Price is currently around rm85.

Kk thanks, I will just ask for hyper 212. Then what 120mm casing fan should I add? So many fans now.. don't know which is really better

i tried cm blade master (same as cm hyper 212+ include fan), arctic cooling f12, xigmatek xlf1253 (my case fan actually , also currently using it, its orange led fans), all perform just same, not even 1c different.

Some ppl said cm blade master is better for cm hyper 212+, u can try cm xtraflo fan too, the airflow is extremely high and price is cheap, the design is almost same like cm blademaster, but in red fin and led, the noise leh , dun worry its pwm .

+1 for cm xtraflo, its around rm27, cm blademaster price also around rm27-28, why not this? but might cost more, because have to get 2 for balance ur rig look , dual red fans ma.

Can vouch for CM Hyper 212+, getting load temps of 75C idling around 24C. But gotta take my current location and weather into account as the ambient temp here is between 15-18 indoors.

is this the temp of ur 4.7ghz? even my stock i5 2500k at idle temp is around 29c-30c . But i must say my room temp is higher a bit.

Cooling used and ambient temps aside, the voltage you use also affects the temps greatly. I managed to get the OC to be stable @ 4.7GHz with 1.34v with max LLC so it varies from 1.34v - 1.36v when being stressed.

[That cooler Spire TherMax Eclipse II has a very attractive price point, being cheaper than D14 AND supposedly cools better. Any chance you willing to post to Australia? Though with shipping added in it will probably cost the same as a D14 here.

okies, i guess i will pair it with blademaster because i dont want it to look different lolz.. maybe i will try xtraflo for exhaust or intake fan. What does it means by PWM? if i just plug to molex connect it will just run at full speed right? how can i control the fan speed?

Pwm is a method of fan control, the fan speed is according to the cpu temp, if ur temp rise, ur fan speed rpm will rise too, it helps reduce noise when ur system is idle. Control speed of fan in molex i never try b4, y would u put the cpu fan on molex? the fan socket use habis?

i mean casing fan, not hsf fan lolz.. hsf fan for sure put on cpu fan socket, but if wan put push pull, but mobo only got 1 cpu fan socket how?

For my push pull config, i put another fan connector to the closest fan socket from cpu cooler.

But if like tat the fan will not be on PWM mode, if the two fans are not running at same speed, how can it push pull efficiently? I noob abit need more clarification lolz..

Last time i am using arctic cooling f12 pwm push pull, i plug another AC F12 into the 4pin fan socket.

xigamtek xlf 120mm orange one, last time i used it on my GPU cooler, seems good. Because xtraflo seems to be little noisy lolz.. is it?

xigmatek xlf-1253, i got 8 in my case . I heard some lyn guy said xtraflo noise is similar to blade master.

same color lo haha.. should be da same la, the design same also. xigmatek is silent abit, i control my xtraflo and xigmatek full speed use fan controller, xigmatek less noise lolz.. Now maybe wan put 1 intake at GPU there.. but my GPU temp seems ok lolz..

ya, it is very silent and the airflow is acceptable too . U got ur xtraflo already?
