QUOTE(radiohear @ Apr 15 2011, 09:50 PM) Ya I still wait supplier confirmation. Coz got many complain from customer said the Noctua NH-D14 too big and too heavy for the mobo & hard to fix + compatibility issue, possibility to strain is highly occur Another plus point the Spire will be cost LOWER than Noctua |

Ya suggested splitter by "taxidoor" for Hyper 212+ is not compatible because it's only 3pin splitter = cannot fit 4pin head. This is what I'm trying to point 4 pin pwm will need this http://www.gelidsolutions.com/products/ind...=2&cid=11&id=31 The Gelid would be perfect This post has been edited by lingloong: Apr 15 2011, 10:07 PM |

QUOTE(Vtec(Rock) @ Apr 16 2011, 05:07 PM) Awaiting supplier stock and price confirmation. Once confirm will post up in Garage Sales QUOTE(Dennos @ Apr 16 2011, 09:37 PM) The Eclipse II is design like "Batman" logo when look from above. The downside is both of the fan included is 3pin which run @ full speed +/- 2200RPM. Some cannot stand the noise level but perhaps can be settle with fan controller. And it remind me of Venomous-X For Gemini, look-alike Megahalems Black |

just for fun to day i ran my rig with out any fans in my CM v10. and the results are surprising actually.
the v10 has 3 sets of heatsink. 2 vertical and 1 horizontal. the vertical set of heatsink which contains the peltier element got hot very2 quickly and couldn't be touch at all , while the other 2 was very2 warm to touch. my cpu temperature on normal with the fans on is around 42 degrees idle. but without the fan it was hovering around 53 degrees. this was with an amd 955be oced to 4ghz. i think if i reverse the rear fan to blow on to the bare heatsink and also reset my proc to it's original clock, the v10 could be a very nice fanless cooler. |
