as5.. when cure.. the thermal paste needs to be dry.. hard
gc1, tx2 must be more sticky , watery like .. say after few days etc.. if not then u applied too little
mx2.. is like half half.. sticky but more to dry..

currently my fav.. gc1 a bit suprised..
got it only because tx2 ran out.. and cex only had this the other day..

a lot of review out there.. make it reviewer are pretty stupid on application and they apply the same way for all tim when compared..

so always remember that.

erm...is there any explanation or specific why the tim must be applied the way u suggested? and how does tim method of application affects temp?

noob wish to learn more notworthy.gif

easy ..

just try it

lol

theres one thing that i always do with all tim
before applying them i lap the heatsinks with as5.

tim application methods affects temps a lot. it also depends the type of cooling u use and the design of the heatsink base.

it can be up to 5C.
