now that it is free, no one rushes there anymore. Last year they charged, and everyone rushed there. Weird eh?

Im biased towards Nikon so.. my answer is biased
But the 1000D does seem to have more bang for the buck compared to the D60. But then the D60 is a Nikon. Nikon = + 1 point in my books. |

Unless the video mode really have problem. Otherwise everything else is a watered down D300. |

i do use the d40x occasionally
this d40x is given to me as my teaching aid and i find the small size to be 'fun' to use. attach a 50 f1.8 to this camera and i have a small camera that i can go anywhere with. true, no AF but who cares... d40x is more than enough for what i am doing now |

Wow, D90 has video? Will it then be the 1st ever DSLR which has vid-recording capability?

I'll probably go for a D90 as a second body. Gf wants a SLR so she might be getting my D40 body for use. Dunno should get a D90 or D300... hmm....

I jumped from D40 to D300 before!
It certainly much more worth it than jumping to D80 Nothing better to do again, so go play with toys With this series, I just wanted to try something simple. Back and front focus and how it could help create different dynamics. Unfortunately, I couldn't control the lighting properly and the WB seems off as well » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by zio: Aug 28 2008, 01:14 AM |

Hello guys, what do you think regarding this combination -
D60 + Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD ? Will the lens last me for a while before upgrading ? The search is still on for DSLR and frankly I find that my target will be Nikon. Added on August 28, 2008, 4:40 amAnyway zio, nice captures there you have. This post has been edited by mizivincible: Aug 28 2008, 04:40 AM |
