No lar.. Crazymouse is giving a warning about feeding almonds to hammies as there are some almonds which is bitter.. He adviced us to limit chit-chats in this thread.. Hope you understand..

one question....anyone know how to train hammie to pee and poo in toilet but not everywhere???

Just now I mixed the prestige and briter bunny.. BF say, wah this bunny food so much better then the one we saw in the petshop, and this prestige so luxury kah, got dried fruit somemore, dried banana lah.. looks so healthy.. ahahaha

And I also opened the hay cake, place one small piece inside, my hammy smell then walk away and continue running her wheel... >.< she don't like it kah?

And, when you change the bedding (wash cage) do you throw everything? Looks a bit wasted lol..

Added on September 3, 2008, 11:22 pmtoilet sand I just place one in there, don't know if she will use it, but placed her poo in there. She not yet pee.. so can't take and put in there.. I throw all the old bedding liao, forget to rescue the pee bedding

as for the bedding, i will throw away the food if it is polluted by the bedding, really cant pick 1 by 1 lolz.

Keep back the bedding, it is not poluted by food, but polluted by poo poo neh.. and she pee pee in her house.. on the bedding she carry up there haiz.. dirty girl..

Yes to avoid any disease or anything dangerous to our hammy but if you pair a hamster like WW or RC,its recommended to put abit the old bedding so that there is still their scent & smell in the tank/cage to avoid a later fight due territorial sense.

View often your hammy,if it still flipping over a week,it is mostly because of flipping disorder.

let them chew chew. and because of Oxbow is sooo fresh, they even will eat it. normaly they just chew for fun. it is make from timothy hay. n nutrition. good for their digest system too.

hehhehe if u can see the things still nice nice n not wet u can pick up n put back after cleaning

basically.. to feed hammi..(aiyaya u all don't talk until like i feeding them like king haha)...

- 1 bag prestige hamster + 1/4 bag britter bunny
- balanced fresh with veges n fruits ( or replace with smoothie)
- LC-Vit ( 3 times a week)
- Organic Vege Powder (daily)
- dog/cat kibbles

if ucan affort:
- Omega 3&6 ( can be coat shine, salmon oil or extra virgin coconut oil)
- nutrition supplement
- tou fu
- sweet corn
- alfafa fresh
- oat
- organic seeds n nuts (no pinto / kidney bean)
- organic wheats n grains
- sprout ur own beans, wheats & grains

something u may need for emergency use:
- anti septic liquid/cream
- inflamo ( incase any skin problem)

good news to you all! my hammie giv me tame liao!! my YY female winter that fierce before this is tame liao!! yeah!!! hehehe my JJ also tame liao. and also last week i bought de syrian BB is also tame liao and doing great. hehehe will upload their photo once i get my laptop reformat. hehehe im gonna buy another female ww from a forumer here. Mike knows it. hehehe wish me luck ya!

i've seen these pictures, and all pictures u've posted.. but it doesnt help in determining..
can u take a pic which is not a close-up? from top, to see the dorsal stripe & color more clearly..

ur other hamster i would say it's an argente RC, but then again, a nice good photo will help a lot

not to say i'm fussy, but it's really hard to determine based on the pics u've showed us

r u sure in the big tank never flip? mind taking a video so that we can see how the 'flipping' happens? if it's only once in a while, then it's not that disease.. the flipping disorder is when the hamster flips REPETITIVELY..
