well, crazymouse told me that RCs cannot eat the smoothie.. which i agree as well.. so if anyone got RC, cannot give smoothie lor (sorry for being so direct)

You can always get the vege set like the bell peppers for dwarfs....they're not high in fructose.

I think Jayniel gotten confused regarding the fact that RC is prone to diabetes if fruits were in their diet. So she straight away assumed smoothie was bad for RC too since smoothie have fruits in it.

Anyway I think Nezu have explained regarding her smoothie. I don't see anyone complaining since it's been all this while giving positive feedback here.

The only bad thing is most of my syrians don't like Red Devil flavor. They are so picky

Don't mean to have war. Like I say, my English is not that fantastic and I'm just giving feed back on how I'll understand with your statement.  Maybe you are too sensitive with our replies, thought that we are firing or flaming at you, but we are NOT. 

As you said, those RC have diabetes in their genetics, so it'll be their genetic problem and not so much of the diet they take in. Maybe even they just take staple food also they'll get diabetes? Just like human.

i dont think that ALL RCs with diabetes in their line end up having diabetes.. there must be some factor to trigger it..

i do agree that breeding RCs are not easy.. one gotta choose those without genetic problems then only can breed.. that's y i've stopped breeding my RCs before ascertaining that they're free from genetic disorders.. but i have not tested for diabetes before.. all this while, i've only given fruits to my ww & robos, but not RCs, as there are just too many sites which are against RCs taking sugary foods.. Wikipedia specifically mentioned FRUITS..
therefore i hope this will make ppl stop & think (i'm referring to RC owners only, other hamsters no prob..)..

but dont be so against RCs lar.. once ppl start doing proper breeding, perhaps these problems wont be so significant anymore..

genetics do play a role.. if the parents are bigger in sized, there's a high chance that the offspring will be bigger in size compared to others..
ww & rc & robos.. i can easily finish feeding them with spinach in 3 days, in addition to other foods..

My dad said some of the hamsters look obese because they're sooooo fat and round

my male baby still bites a looot... for some reason its teeth is much much much more sharper than the female.. grr

im not even sure my hamster is wad breed.. cos my fren is the one who got it for me and she never ask the details from the pet shop...
are campbells the only ones with red eye?

my female hamster has red eye... the male is slightly red but quite dark.... but the female no prob wor..

red eyes doesnt mean bitey.. it's just that most Russian Campbells are bitey in nature..

and ya, only RCs have red eyes.. oh wait.. i think syrians do have red eyes too(some of them)..
