i would, too, but my ceiling height is not made for the r8. a shorter stalk will affect the efficiency of the fan, so might as well get one that's designed for low ceiling..

The reason why i installed R8 in the Living hall is because of the Reverse function whereby i have my AC close to the Fan in the living hall ----> http://deka.my/index.php?option=com_conten...=105&Itemid=259 This post has been edited by coconutzz: Aug 16 2012, 09:47 PM |

i know the site says 32cm, but i called them and they told me it was 44cm. this is just too weird. if this is true, i'll rather get this than the kdk due to cost. thanks!

QUOTE(kons @ Jul 13 2012, 03:46 PM) was using euro uno for the past 1 year, recently the remote just gone haywire, have to press the reset button everytime we need to power it on, before the remote can be used. thinking to change it to kdk. Avoid them like the plague!! My 5-blades ceiling fan is moving like as if it has been working for 10 years, but in fact it is just about 1.5 yo! They want to charge me RM50 for transportation, but my warranty card says RM35! I guess they increased the charge just becoz they are based in Rawang now instead of kota damansara... Just avoid them buddy! This post has been edited by numbertwo: Aug 24 2012, 03:06 PM |

AS for ceilling fan, Say NO to Deka....
I bought 5 DEKA fans from soxxka suxma about 2 years back. Thought the reverse function is good, but consider useless.... 2 of the DEKA was down just after 1 year and calling the service centre no one pickup the call. Is it close down or wrong number printed at manual? Last call the shop, they said will charge for transportation charges and need to change the part (remote sensor on fan faulty) for fan which cost almost Rm150++... I rather to change the fan instead of repair.... Roughly about 1.5 years, another unit was down.... The price for this fan i bought last time is no cheap, if buy 1 unit is Rm299 and buy 5 unit and each rm269.... Totally regret now, with the price I rather buy the KDK or panasonic.... My KDK 4 blades still working in good condition but some minor humming sound from fan..... So forumers, choose your ceilling fans carefully... |

You install your baby fan direct on the plaster ceiling? |
