hi all, for a low ceiling, what would be the best fan, or the best height for the fan?

depending on the fan, i will likely still use the hook, but cut a hole in the ceiling for the fan..

planning to get deka baby G or 6 for my office and 2nd room
Top Ten selling Baby G at RM160

anyone knows of any specific models of normal sized fan that fits a low ceiling?

8' 8", unfortunately. would prefer full sized fan, not baby fan

What baby fan did you install? These fans will be for 3 areas; living, dining, and master bedroom

The 2nd room and office will utilize baby fans

i'm 6 feet tall, so yes, reaching up will have my hands pretty much nearly cut off if i get in the way of the blades at 7.5 feet haha.

i'm partial to the deka ones that have the ability to reverse their directions, due to spreading the a/c joy around, at least in the bedroom

i would, too, but my ceiling height is not made for the r8. a shorter stalk will affect the efficiency of the fan, so might as well get one that's designed for low ceiling..

edit: i spoke to Deka themselves, the R8 is 44cm total height, vs the 30.5cm for Nami Jr

i know the site says 32cm, but i called them and they told me it was 44cm. this is just too weird. if this is true, i'll rather get this than the kdk due to cost. thanks!
