QUOTE(darthkir @ Dec 8 2011, 09:44 AM) Guys, unless u have a wood plank on top of the ceilingI need advise. I am moving to a single storey with low ceiling (normal ceiling). The rooms dont have existing hook. A nearby electrical shop told me that to fix the hook first require to add additional wood plank because the existing one not strong enough. This is what the lady said. Can anybody advise? Thanks. if u wan to use a baby fan, then u don need a strong hook. baby fan is around 44 inch and price around 350 and below(KDK) |

QUOTE(Nitrous @ Dec 28 2011, 10:47 AM) I have gotten 4 fans for my new place, 3 of them KDK and so far none have wobbling problems. The only regret I had was with the K15Y6 (5 blade) which i used for my master room. The noise it generates during the lowest speed is louder than my panasonic aircon, which makes sleeping tad bit difficult. same as mine, the sound generate at the lowest speed is the worst.the worst thing is I had 9 of them in the houseThe best investment I made for the fans is the Haiku fan which I used for my dining area, I should have gotten one for the master room too (cost saving measure, now a bit regret). |

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 8 2015, 04:59 PM) As long as it don't rust, it is ok to me. I prefer steel plate or wood type. It more rigid and believe it won't wooble when swinging. (Blade swing like a wave) but currently the ppg that i have is okjust the steel blade corode and some of the paint would peel of if the speed around 5. @@ maybe i should use a scraper to scrap all those paint out. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 8 2015, 05:15 PM) You can't see it. The fan turning at high speed while the blade is wooble. It probably create some sound. when it spin, it will create some sound and a few piece of paint will drop.Bad idea. Better just use cloth to wipe it. Scraper too hard on the surface. Spray paint it? clean and peel of some with hand but still the same. more like the paint doesnt 'eat' on the steel |

QUOTE(telur @ Mar 16 2015, 03:36 PM) A fan wont cool down the temperature . It just help to circulate the air . Yuragi is supposed to produce breeze like natural wind (inconstant speed) , not increase circulation . Personally i think its useless and not worth the price . +1yuragi is almost useless, the inconsistent wind does not affect much. and the price is too high. |

QUOTE(Antzfield @ Mar 19 2015, 09:45 PM) Yes, indeed, I also looking into either KDK or Panasonic. But pening as different shops calling either KDK or Panasonic is better, so don't know which one to go. both came from the same factory. so quality around there.I just looking for something reliable (I know, nowadays most products not so reliable liao, but which one stand better lah) and the air is good. So which one and which model ya??? (5 blades prefer, I think, but confusing liao) just get those in ur budget or nicer for ur eyes. |
