How about this?

It is from Yahoo! so I believe that it might be more accurate.

hahaha i understand what u mean but u see the idea of clubbing is to meet new ppl, instead of bringing ur gfs there. I dont really see a problem there and i can safely say that many ppl take MRT go clubbing. For me if 'good stuff' did happen i would take the cab back or not i'll take the midnight bus and i think it only runs on weekend . Like you, i always think that its a pain taking the public tranportation where u have to change like 2-3 buses just to get to one place but u know what, i learn to live with it coz its the norm here.

If you really want to, you can drive if you're willing to spare roughly S$1000-1500 per month. I can spend up to S$40 a day just to go to/from work in taxis (ERP and surcharges during peak kills!). With 20 working days a week, that's $800 a month already. So buying a car is really not much more than taking regular taxis, especially if you need to go longer distances or go places after work or during weekends.

You can have quite alot of those things in singapore.

1. Car dont really need since public transport very good, you only want car coz you want it, not need it in singapore
2. Gf just get one here or ask her come work in singapore, parents memang lar, you want 2 work outstation have to sacrifice somethings.
3. If u got buddies in sing no prob, my usually IM my buddies so not that bad, but cant go for teh tarik, gotta go for more ex option like starbucks and finger food at coffee shop not so popular
4. Near my place got CC with dota, so no prob, can also online dota
5. You can torrents, but just like malaysia they throttle it or they will just report u to police by ISP, but that long time never happen

If you want all those comforts compared to double salary, then why not go back since you not happy? I was actually not happy in my own hometown, now better and get better pay so win-win for me. Plus my company do aggressive staff training, not like malaysia ask boss for training he scold u.

Problem is, with the recession, more people will buy more Toto... Yishun and few other places, if you read SG press, every year, they will report which places got the most strike. That's why people go to those places. Its not just once, but they are more like a regular place to strike. that's why...

Many years ago, I was working in Ang Mo Kio, one moulding operator strike 3 mil and packed her bag go back to Sabah. Sometimes such thing its really up to you to believe. If there is a "WANG" place, people will strike lottery... I don't believe in this, but my former company happened to be one such place. Every month, some one will strike, 4D, toto, ollegal betting, etc.... including myself who don't buy at all. You see, it was 1 month before my wedding, and my department supervisor collected $ from everyone to buy 4D every week including mixing those no. together. Guess what, for 3 consecutive week, we striked (not main price), but just 1 week before my wedding, I told them we would concentrated on that final week and stop our bet for that week

SO, BIG NEWS after that. the exact number out 3rd price and our bet... just myself alone, $100 on normal to strike and another $100 on the number to be one of the top 3 prices...... that bet for the department was whatever we won.. few hundreds.. but NONE of us strike because we didn't buy at all because of me.... You believe now? I still can't believe myself.. but it happen.

Do you know the name of my company? Theck Heng... interpret it in Cantonese... means, get lots of luck. HK boss, who strike every year... company was already 20+yrs in SG then. Every week, coffe anuty will go round collecting $ for betting.... can you imagine this happen including from the boss?

Any non-Singaporean who is lookin for a job in Singapore need a work or employment pass - why should a Malaysian who is seekin work in Singapore be any different?

It's the employer who applies the work pass for the employee - you can't obtain a work or employment pass by yourself unless your current monthly salary is at least SGD7,000 per month which then allows one to try and apply for a Personalised Employment Pass which is awarded based on individual merits and former earnings.

Working in singapore ..min need to have Work permit... Foreign levy for form 5 Level need to paying SGD$150.00 ..some good employer will absorb all cost (my company beared all cost due to my boss dun knw some company beared 1/2 only.i shld help malaysian never told them abt this...).

Few year ago I went to interview 1 job at sentosa , forgot hotel line or restaurant.... thier HR told me you are Malaysian only entitle 7 days leave & singaporean entitle 14 days ...this is difference ..Local singapore company always have this thinking ..even my current boss also have this thinking
last 2 years i was employed assistance to helping me , they told me if you employ Singaporean salary range around sgd$1600 if Malaysian will only give sgd$1400 ..I asked why have this diff ..they told me ..singaporean & malaysian difference. from tht time onwards I know wht my boss thinking, & I have my thinking & plan alsos..coming soon I will leaving them...kekeke

Very wide question. Anything from $1500 to $150,000 or more, depending on experience and responsibilities.
