Which room?

Most of the flats in AMK are more than 30 years old have been upgraded.

The original 'utility' room is now called the storeroom. It's really narrow, not more than the width of the door but long L shaped. If it's that room, I think it's too claustrophobic and degrading however low the rental.

If the flat has been upgraded (2 or 3 bedroom), they would have added a utility room at the rear of the flat, next to the kitchen & common toilet. That room is not as big as a common bedroom (it's probably 15"x15") but big enough for a single bed, a small closet and table - if you don't have much stuff. Anything more than that is probably way too cramped.

Staying alone. If i had partner sure find a bigger place since utility room to small for 2 ppl.

Heres a link with the description and pictures of the room.

The map marker is at least a 15m walk from AMK stn. I stay at the corner of AMK Ave 5 & Ave 6, and it takes me roughly 13m-15m to get to AMK stn. About 8m to YCK stn.

The distance from the map marker is a little farther to AMK stn from where I am.

If you don't want to walk, you might want to take a bus. Lots of buses plying the main avenues in AMK.

Most of the nice places seems that its for ladies only. Near the the main roads or in close proximity to mrt stations.

What can do got gender bias. Hopefully dont add racial profiling in it.

without a work permit, a foreigner working in singapore is illegal. the reason of "travel" is because u only can stay in singapore for ~1-2 months with the social pass (the white card u get when u enter singapore). if there is no official employment confirmation and the company did not apply work permit for you, please beware that you can be send back to malaysia and get banned from entering singapore for few years (and bad record).

as i heard last time (~3 years ago) as long as the company apply the work permit through online or post, the worker are allow to work in the company for a month while waiting for the application to be approve. i'm not sure this is really the case or not.

there are a lot of news where company hire the person without apply the work permit, then force the employee to go back without paying their salary. if u have doubts can check with the company smile.gif.

Food was so so, not a meat lover myself but smartalec enjoys it very much. My favourite of the night was the beef bacon.

Bill came up to S$67++ after discount (Buffet & cocktails), cause we paid with citibank cc (50% discount).

Rating 6/10 - cause like i said, not a true blue meat lover.

Ya.. some of the company is like tat, the staff will work immediately after the company fill in the form for them.. waiting for the EP approval..
But for my company, I only start working after getting my EP done. then I am 2 weeks late for the FY cut off date.. then No performance Bonus, the tat half FY. mad.gif
