QUOTE(stimix @ Jul 7 2009, 12:17 PM) Ehhhh..u sure this one famous kah? The real chicken rice balls doesn't come wth grilled chicken..Only Pak cham kai-leh...The famous one = Chung Wah (probably the best hainanese rice balls in Malaysia..ehh not the chicken-lah)...2nd is Hoe Kee..heard the owner graduated from Chung Wah & perfected the chicken but not the rice.. The lousiest of all Farmosa...Totally copycat & sumore using machine to make the ball....They once opened a branch in Cheras & Mahkota Parade but failed. LoL..just a picture of the chicken rice balls because some ppl dont understand the "balls" part..yes this is the crappy famosa one,the best ive tried is nearby jonkers as well, forgot the name On the Cendol...I think that one is Jonker88..Maritime Museum..Revisited this last week too after my 1st time ~CNY time...During that time..not really good, but on 2nd visit, yeah got the taste...The gual Melaka is perfecto. probably the best gula melaka on all cendol..but...the cendol & the santan (I suspect package santan)...is lousy... @putraskyline..din know u are in Melaka last wkk..me too balik kampung QUOTE(danielwan @ Jul 9 2009, 03:16 PM) reading all this post make me wanna go Malacca la this weekend!! QUOTE(babytensai @ Jul 12 2009, 10:04 AM) U no need 2 pay for the summons u got from other sates 1 la. Coz u dun renew ur road tax in dat state, so no worries. Is this true?? As in not applicable by law? I have many frens who came dowm to mlc and got the summons. So was just wondering whether they shud pay or not. |

All taikos, i'm planning a 3d2n trip to Melaka on 28th-30th Aug. Is this advisable since it is Merdeka Day on 31st Aug which falls on Monday?
Which is the best hotel that is considered clean, comfortable and most convenient? Price is ok for me. If i opt for budget hotel which is at Jonker's Walk, will i have parking problem? I understand there is a pasar malam there, will it be a problem for my car to move in and out from the hotel? Or will i just need to park my car for the check in and my activities is enough for 3d2n without using my car? This post has been edited by sailou: Jul 18 2009, 03:19 AM |

Bro stimix, i have read everything in full before i post my question.
I'm asking if those hotel conveniently around Jonker Walk have sufficient parking space for their guest or non at all. Who has been staying in those hotel recently can enlighten me on the current situation of those hotel? Is it ok to go on the same weekend with Merdeka Day? Will there be helluva crowd and massive congestions? |
