just my opinion, my friend using LG(no idea the model) after like 2 years, everything problem..the compresor sound very obvious...but i would say LG is the best looking aircon around...secondly to panasonic...but in terms of reliability..it didnt score....
i think it's best based on some good review on mitsubishi aircon, y don't you mix n max the aircon....tat's wat i did too..mitsu and pana.. but no LG for me...

Very true, my parents bought 5 LG air cond but gave quite a lot of problems in the house.
For guest room and all it's probably ok, but for places that are on everyday don't use it.

alright..getting scarely now hearing so many bad experiences from everyone, i wonder would a bad installation job give the problem to the units instead of the unit/brand itself being faulty?

anyhow...i guess i better skip it to avoid headache..back to panasonic then..the only one aircond brand that I used in my x-home...still running quietly after 4 years...what the heck then lol.

That was 5 years ago when my parents renovated the house. Before the renovation removed the National air cond and then reinstall the air-cond in the guest room, the air cond is still working perfectly although the plastic is now yellowish after 10 years.

I do think Panasonic are quite relaible, what most people complain about panasonic is that they are not cold enough.

I think you can get cheaper for sharp plasmacluster.. Was quoted rm890 IIRC for 1HP at ESH SS2..

Anyway yesterday bought 2 units aircond from HLK puchong.. Hitachi 2HP rm1880 and hesstar 1HP rm670
Both without installation. Caught in 2 mind whether to get daikin or hitachi at first but end up goes for hitachi..

Bro Nuke,

where exactly is ESH SS2. rm890 is quite ok, is in't?

hey guys...need some support here...where is the best place to buy aircond? im looking for panasonic inverter and normal model...im staying in kajang...been looking around bangi and kajang area for aircond..even i went to puchong...the price range varies a lot!!around 200 bucks difference...so im confuse now...some place airconds are cheap but installation (piping) is expensive..and vice versa....
I just bought a new house and now under renovation for plaster ceiling..so the problm is i need to decide my aircond piping for the conractor to hack even though im not going to fix the aircond yet...any suggestion? If aircond comes in later then i might need to hack my wall to conceal the piping and that time will be very messy...so i tot of planning all the piping should be install first even aircond is not there..

If you want the piping concealed hack it now. Also consider drainage pipe, make sure it's flowing down following gravity. My previous air cond installer, probably not a good one made the piping the same height as the air cond, so the water couldn't flow out causing the water to leak from the air cond 6 months after service.Had to reinstall the air cond higher to resolve this.

It's been 3-4 years since Panasonic introduce the R410 gas. Is maintaining and servicing this inverter air cond still expensive?

If without gas refill, the price is normal just like others non inverter service. Nothing special there.

The excuse for the expensive gas refill few years ago was because R410 gas is new in the market. As R410 gas is now common in the market for a few years already has the price dropped or is it still RM300 per refill?
