is there any effect if they do looping from the existing 3-pin plug point?
*
You cannot use the 3pin plug for other thing. If the looping to the higher HP aircon. Otherwise you will trip the breaker. Makesure the wire joining is secure.

recomended 12months cycles to service the a/c. gas refill not neccessarily coz no leaking no refill beware to be CON!! normally wash chemical (detached the blower and outdoor units), charges ranges from RM 120-RM 150 of course depend to the type of the a/c and the total unit (s) have to service. the price reference is for household use split a/c units. comercial i dunno how they charge.  hmm.gif

Is that expensive now servicing price? My office 3 set aircon service cost RM75each. My home aircon service cost RM80. All split type range from 1.5hp to 3hp.

I have an old aircond that is not working anymore. If I want to get new unit, will most shops able to help me to dispose of the old aircond?

Your old aircon still worst as scrap metal. Sell it to scrap yard. You can get back some money.

I do that last time.

I think you can get cheaper for sharp plasmacluster.. Was quoted rm890 IIRC for 1HP at ESH SS2..

Anyway yesterday bought 2 units aircond from HLK puchong.. Hitachi 2HP rm1880 and hesstar 1HP rm670
Both without installation. Caught in 2 mind whether to get daikin or hitachi at first but end up goes for hitachi..

Is it true 1.5hp & below air-cond can use back existing 3-pin plug point as power source?

has anyone installed/used LG aircond(+health series) here? LG has been very innovative about their products and I'm hooked by its look(not the artcool though) and features packed..They claim that their noise level(dB) is the lowest ... anyone could share your experience?

just my opinion, my friend using LG(no idea the model) after like 2 years, everything problem..the compresor sound very obvious...but i would say LG is the best looking aircon around...secondly to panasonic...but in terms of reliability..it didnt score....
i think it's best based on some good review on mitsubishi aircon, y don't you mix n max the aircon....tat's wat i did too..mitsu and pana.. but no LG for me...

tks for sharing tyhuang..

i like the slim looking hence LG, and I always believe in ever improving products. Like Kia, their cars are just getting more n more value for money.. smile.gif
..but like you suggested i might mix it with Daikin/pana and see who fairs better.. smile.gif
