hi guys, if I go aircond shop tomorrow (maybe houz depot or harvey norman or legend) , do you guys think I can get it installed tomorrow evening ? or maybe sunday?
*
Um, shouldn't you ask this question to the seller first? This is highly dependent on the respective shop's work flow... whether they have enough installers free to work on things as soon as the next day. Judging from how so many people are trying to get their houses done up in time for Chinese New Year, chances are you'd have to wait more than a night for your air cons to be up... tongue.gif (UNLESS IF YOU ARE SUPER VVVIP maybe wink.gif rolleyes.gif whistling.gif

Just sharing some info:

Panasonic 2.0HP Deluxe Inverter aircon:

http://www.panasonic.com.my/wps/portal/hom...deluxe/CSS18NKH

It’s the latest model from Panasonic. Just launched last week. This is the NKH series. The older version was MKH. Many shops still don’t have this model yet. This new version has an additional built in Nano-G air purifying system. Plus many other features.

This 2.0HP Deluxe Intelligent Inverter (don’t be confused with the standard inverter) costs RM 2,600 (inclusive installation). It also has the 5 Star Energy Rating so can get a further RM100 discount from TNB (if you qualify) which the shop will process for you.

For your bedroom, 1hp is minimal, but on hot day it will take longer time to cool the room. 1.5HP will be good, if run for long hours like 5 hours onward, inverter 1.5 will be good investment.

Living room, I suggest 2hp.

If ure gonna be using every night, then go for inverter. For a 6mX4m, a 1.5HP is sufficient la. 2HP Panasonic Deluxe Inverter CSS18MKH only costs RM 2,600 (with installation). Not sure how much is the 1.5HP

Your room is slightly bigger than mine. Mine is 19' 9" x 11' 4", I use 1.5 HP inverter. Room is facing North

If your room is facing East, or West, you may need higher power A/C, if not your morning or evening will be hot. But If morning and evening is not your concern than is ok.

thank you guy, I also thinking to get either between 1.5hp to 2hp, but 2hp cost a lot more compare to 1.5hp, if only there's 1.75 hp (panasonic have it right on new model?)

Anyway will go for 1.5 biggrin.gif

That is what many people say. But I find mine ok.

York blower is very noisy but very fast cooling. Good to use @ living hall.

BTW, Acson is oem from York, and is cheaper too.

Pleased with my midea 1,5hp inverter. rm1.1k + rm150 for installation. so far no complaints, easily rm400-500 cheaper than pana/daikin.

Actually, buying a expensive AC does not mean you have a good product. Sometimes, boils down to luck. I got Pana AC for the whole house. End up there were some problem with few of them and their after sales service sucks.
