hhhhmmm...i gather that since there's not much difference between the 2 brands, I should just go for the pricing as my deciding factor?

Guys,
Any thoughts on Sharp air-cond? Called Jintex and they recommended me Sharp Plasmacluster. I don't use air cond much. But sometimes i have friends over, we have drinks and smoke. So they recommended Sharp Plasmacluster due to my requirements. |

air-cond should remain as air-cond. get an air-cond that cools the room well...and get a air filter that filters smoke well.
get something in between, and at the end both dont do its job well...spells REGRET. just me 2 cents, coming from personal experience |

Hi all, you advice is highly appreciated.
I have existing air cond 2hp installed in the condo, but i'm not really happy with the direction of piping which pull from the top of the wall to the floor. So i tend to reinstall again, pull the pipe though the top of the wall, non-concealed PVC Trunking method, new copper paip, any idea how much would it charged? QUOTE(aircondtech @ Aug 21 2011, 10:31 PM) bro, if you use over 10hrs with 16'C setting temp than u better used inveter type. if less than 10hrs with setting temp 24'c or above you better use non inveter type. thanks isn't it the other way around?if the compressor is running max load all the time, like when it's gonna be running at 16 degrees temp then better to get a non inverter. and when the compressor is gonna see some partial load, like temp setting 24 degrees or above then better to use inverter type as the compressor is gonna turn on and off. care to enlighten? |

Existing from the top of the wall straight downto the floor, then break a hole and connect to the compressor outside. I prefer the piping done on top of the wall, go by side way, then connect to outside Added on August 26, 2011, 4:42 pmYeah, jobs done. A very good subcon get it done for me, price is very reasonable as well ! This post has been edited by arpoh: Aug 26 2011, 04:42 PM |

Hi,
anyone using Hisense brand before. My contractor quoted me RM1200 include basic installation for inverter type. Using R410a gas. According to him, Hisense same factory as Hitachi , so no problem one. Anyone have any feedback about this brand? Thanks... |

Guys, a quick question.
Planning to buy an air conditioner for my room (3mx4m) so I think 1.0HP will suffice. Currently looking at Panasonic CSS10MKH (Panasonic Website My main reason of getting air conditioner is because I live near a busy road and I just couldn't handle the amount of dust that gets into my room even when I already installed a mosquito netting (the seller claims it's good enough for dust as well). So the questions is, how much should I expect to pay for the USAGE of this aircond if I turn it on around 16 hours a day? I will probably set the temperature around 25C. Thanks in advance for anyone that help me. |

guys,
my contractor initially quoted me a price in a black & white quotation of RM700 to install 3 inverter air cons (2 units of 1hp and 1 unit of 2hp) the quotation states 10ft copper piping. after installation, he says that the copper piping exceeds 10-15ft so he is charging me RM20/ft is this reasonable? |

Quite standard. Their installation price is for 10ft copper piping only. If more, they will charge for the extra lengths.
