Any new generation 1 HP split unit aircon can be connected safely to the 13A (provided it is not shared with heavy appliances like Oven, heater, etc)

Anyway, I will choose one with lowest starting amp, Panasonic seems to have one with 3.6A. |

QUOTE(cba6p @ Aug 16 2011, 11:11 AM) but be careful to choose inveter type AC. i notice some brands, the efficency is not worth compare to the spare parts. for example 1HP panny inverter, outdoor PCB cost about RM530. and 1HP Daikin inverter only RM450. compare to the panny, Daikin more efficent compare to others brands. Daily 10hrs use only cost you RM30 including other house appliance. |

How about 2hp?
I still considering wether to go for inverter or not. I'm considering for this two models... Panasonic C18MKH (Non inverter) Panasonic S18MKH (Inverter) This post has been edited by m_imrun: Aug 16 2011, 11:43 AM |

Daikin FT25DVM/R25DV1 running current = 3.94/4.25....I suppose 4.25A is the starting current hence should be fine to use on 13A supply. BTW, this is a non-inverter type. Why I choose non-inverter? Coz I am using the 1hp a/c in my living room (oversized). I don't think the compressor will have the chance to have breaks. So inverter doesn't serve any purpose...

Need your opinion on which air cond to choose. Am currently looking into 2 models 1.) Panasonic Inverter 1HP Air Con [CS-S10MKH] 2.) Sharp Inverter 1HP Air Con [AHXP10MV] Can't get much reviews or info on the Sharp air cond off the net so was hoping you guys might have experience or some knowledge to share. Thanks! |

Hi guys,
I was wondering when these air cond sellers say that their air con price include 10 FEET COPPER PIPING, INSTALLATION, AND WIRING. Does this mean than the copper pipping and wiring would be concealed? Will they hack the wall and conceal them? Just doing some survey before i start enquiring. Any advice would be much appreciated. |
