Quite standard. Their installation price is for 10ft copper piping only. If more, they will charge for the extra lengths.
Hi kelvynSo is RM20/ft a reasonable rate?

QUOTE(z3171600 @ Sep 7 2011, 11:27 AM) Guys, a quick question. satu hari rm 2.65 for 16hrs Planning to buy an air conditioner for my room (3mx4m) so I think 1.0HP will suffice. Currently looking at Panasonic CSS10MKH (Panasonic Website My main reason of getting air conditioner is because I live near a busy road and I just couldn't handle the amount of dust that gets into my room even when I already installed a mosquito netting (the seller claims it's good enough for dust as well). So the questions is, how much should I expect to pay for the USAGE of this aircond if I turn it on around 16 hours a day? I will probably set the temperature around 25C. Thanks in advance for anyone that help me. |

Guys,
Seems like a lot are recommending Panasonic ac but may I know which particular model? I'm looking for a 1hp non-inverter for theater room & another 1.5hp inveter for master bedroom. I went to legend to inquire & was quoted 1hp non-ionizer at about 900 & 1.5hp ionizer at 1.5k. I forgot to ask about inverter, stupid me :S |

Hi, anybody recommend Carrier aircon? I surveyed the spec, Carrier BTU is higher than Pana, so faster cooling and save more electricity, got LED display at split unit, and price is cheaper than Pana. Pana assemble local but parts China, Carrier assemble in China in joint venture company with Midea (Toshiba and Carrier is same company now)
Considering these 2 brands, popularity vs specification. Need to decide urgently. Thanks! |

QUOTE(brotan @ Sep 12 2011, 10:58 PM) Ya York the general feedback is noisy. Now narrow to Pana and Carrier. One is popular but heard the after sales service is bad after 1 year, one is not so popular but higher spec, not sure about after sales service. Need to know which to buy if about the same price. |

QUOTE(brotan @ Sep 12 2011, 10:58 PM) again just quoting salesman talk.york got few models. the noisy model which is <rm1k for supply & install is for commerical/office use hence cheap. the york model meant for residential or even york with ionizer is more silent. and besides, noisy or not, it's from the outdoor unit, not the blower within your unit. unless the outdoor unit is placed very near your room/hall, then i guess got problem lor. so how? dunno to belive or not. and btw, salesman also claim york got new model coming this month. should be out already gua. my own checking, most highrise projects in kl including high end usually offers daikin or york. |
