I have found out Amway Espring is way over priced in Malaysia.

I cost USD 435.00 (RM 1,305.00) on Amazon

Link

http://www.amazon.com/eSpring%C2%AE-Carbon...16595098&sr=8-2

OK OK is understand Air freight, tax bla bla... MLM profits.

But come on lah ! they charge RM 4K here, isn't that rediculous. rclxub.gif

A friend of my (Amway Troopers) will talk about how great this divine water filter, every time we meet without fail. yawn.gif

Yes i agree it may be quite good but not worth the price.

It's a RO water filter. That is all it is. The whole ad is like whoa magic water.

If you tell me that the filter can give me clean water, I'll listen to you explaining why and how clean it is.
If you tell me that the filter can give me energized, oxygenated, bla bla bla, magic, divine, holy, <insert science term> water, then I know you are bullshitting me.

lol bro Jolo, the unit u found on amazon is a different model. Espring in US has couple of different models, in malaysia (and most other countries) only 1 model sold.

if wanna compare every electrical item priced in Msia with the ones on Amazon/ebay... i would say almost EVERYTHING is more exp here la~ tongue.gif

also, FYI RM4k is retail price...it can go down as low as RM2700+ with trade in facilities and up to 18mth interest free installment.

for that kinda price + certifications + B&W reports, easily beats any other competitor in the Malaysia market.ofcos cannot compare pricing with other countries. why pay RM1.5k-2k to get something of middle class quality(most likely no proper certs or nonsense claims) .

u can verify my statement with your Amway friend smile.gif

My current Amway first generation water filter with UV out live the outdoor sand filter.

Not that it never break down, but spare parts was available. When we want to find spare parts for the sand filter the company stop making and no more stock. Ask us change another model @#$%#$^#$%

Added on September 22, 2011, 6:50 pmOh, and the Amway filter still running.

How about Bacfree kitchen water filter?

Have this for years and used to run the water from Bacfree onto a distiller but I discontinued the distiller simply because the RM200 a month electricity was getting too much. Plus the water quality was minimally improved. Did my homework and concluded that its more than good enough. Interesting enough the amount of sediment on the distiller was very low after the Bacfree.

Quality water filters need not expensive. Won't want to comment much as up to a certain point the water is more than safe for drinking. Cost? A lot cheaper than a lot of the filters discussed here.

I just purchase 3M outdoor and Indoor filter. Total RM 2099. I like the outdoor unit. Compact and nice. The Indoor is also direct drink, and NSF certification.

I like the seller, he told me the filter can match with all the filter here in Malaysia except Amway because 3M don't have UV, but Amway have. 3M have a list of water filter with NSF in Malaysia, they know what they deal with.

I have been searching for a proper good water filter systems...
Tupperware has a new "Nano Nature Water Filtration" $2599 , trade in discount $200 promo till end Sept. Anyone any experience with this product?

I prefer it because:
- Tupperware well known with lifetime warranty for plastic containers.
- its US based company
- no electricity required.

Any feedback welcomed. I will be buying in few days before promo ends.
