i would say a stainless steal water filter around rm 1.1k would be sufficient. This is because most filters are made of fine sand, carbon, and etc. They are almost the same, therefore, you do not need to waste extra money for diamond and other expensive products.

i googled espring and seems quite good. Another Cheaper alternative Aquaphor Crystal Eco. Espring is 0.2 micron and using regular carbon block with UV light to kill bacteria. Aquaphor Crystal Eco is 0.1 Micron hollow fibre membrane technology (can filter harmful bacteria), using CarbFibre Block Technology with Aqualen and Silver to neutralize bacteria. yeap, as i said a stainless steel filter like the rocket type is good enough, can filter til 5 micron, very good d. When you backwash, the water is as black as ur coffee, you will be shocked. However, you will need to be careful with the medium that the retailers are giving you, most of the cheap fibre type of filter will use local sand which are cheaper but not as fine as the imported ones. Ask what type of sand and medium they are giving to u b4 buying.

i think it is important to have a good outdoor filter to protect your tap fittings, then get a reliable indoor drinking filter to filter off harmful contaminants and bacteria. Aquaphor Crystal Eco is about RM 1k+ only and replacement cartridges are cheap as well. Added on September 6, 2010, 1:26 amQUOTE(wongpeter @ Aug 31 2010, 02:34 AM) This is the best water filter in the world. This beats the gold water, diamond water, platinum water, ruby water etc as well as those hexagonal water, polygonal water etc. It is far superior to the Coway water filters, the Cosway filters, the Amway filters, the NoWay water filters, the Everywhichway water filters. If you drink enough of the water from this water filter it can cure cancer, it can cure AIDS, you will never fall sick and best of all you can live till 150yrs old. People who used this filter says it not only improved their health but also their luck. 99.99% of customers who bought this water filter has won the TOTO jackpot and become millionaires. This water filter costs around RM250 in the shops or you can buy it from me at the special price of RM999.99 and I will throw in a free gift of a 8GB flash drive. Hurry! This offer lasts only for about 10 years or so. wah got so good bo, what brand and price? I selling coway also wanna try kekek This post has been edited by zheilwane: Sep 6 2010, 01:27 AM

QUOTE(ccheng0085 @ Mar 31 2011, 11:29 PM) bought NESH QOOZO in PWTC Perfect Livin fair today, quite attractive package I should say.... worth to buy. Did u survey the price outside before buying from perfect living? Not all items are cheap in fair, must really becareful. My auntie bought something in fair then later went out to check the prices, got 10% extra cheaper.... Some of them just mark up the prices then give lots of discount, so consumers will assume they are getting a very good deal. This post has been edited by zheilwane: Apr 2 2011, 08:01 AM

For those who are interested with alphamax, can consider PERFECT STEEL G2 Filter. If alphamax does not require changing the media, then i guess this filter could do the same as they are actually same as alphamax using micro Z, quick sand and fine sand. ***Sand & micro Z will need to be replaced around 3 years once. QUOTE(Don Quixote @ Dec 1 2011, 08:16 PM) Has anyone heard of hydro1? What do you think of hydro1? www.hydro1.com.my Seloka Sukma is currently offering a package of Hydro one outdoor filter, Hydro One Pressure Booster Pump and Solarwave Pipe Heating System. Most of Solar Wave dealers have package for Solar + pump + filter as all these three items are from one company. I would say Solar Power + Grundfos water pump + sand filter would give u less trouble and longer life span. If you wan to know why, just come to our showroom in kepong Here is our location http://maps.google.com.my/maps?q=3.211593,...psrc=6&t=m&z=18

QUOTE(cenglee @ Dec 8 2011, 06:53 PM) 9" diameter, height is also about 42", similar to PGM 942. But my casing is grey like waterco. Added on December 9, 2011, 2:10 amQUOTE(phoenix69 @ Dec 7 2011, 09:14 AM) Hey , this looks like coway product. any further product info? Include what type of filters? This design is similar to Coway but it is using UF Alkaline system while Coway's 1 is RO filter. Therefore, there is no dirty water to be discharged, no wastage. Facts from Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverse_osmosisHousehold reverse osmosis units use a lot of water because they have low back pressure. As a result, they recover only 5 to 15 percent of the water entering the system. The remainder is discharged as waste water. Because waste water carries with it the rejected contaminants, methods to recover this water are not practical for household systems. Wastewater is typically connected to the house drains and will add to the load on the household septic system. An RO unit delivering 5 gallons of treated water per day may discharge 40 to 90 gallons of wastewater per dayThis post has been edited by zheilwane: Dec 9 2011, 02:13 AM
