QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 4 2008, 04:33 PM) For any purchase using DA Credit Card. Just call the Customer care to tell them which payment you want to be made into 0% Interest (but pay one-time admin fee..it's exactly the same like interest but termed differently) QUOTE(fikrie @ Nov 4 2008, 04:45 PM) Dats right.. which means u bought de thing 1st, then de payment can be converted into installment.. thanks for the info, yea the one time fee is quite low ..Dun actually remember how much de one time interest, but its very low.. |

QUOTE(b00n @ Nov 4 2008, 05:19 PM) Most probably they would ask them to retain Malaysia banking account i.e. saving or current with internet facility for transferring of money from those banks to pay off citibank outstanding. Certain banks do not allow you to login to your online banking from overseas. Not sure if this is the case with Citibank. |

I don't see why you can't login from overseas. It defeats the purpose of Internet banking right? Just my two cents.

QUOTE(kenneth87 @ Nov 4 2008, 04:42 PM) Hi every sifu here, i was wondering, if i plans to continue my studies in US, am i able to transfer my CITIbank Credit card bill over to the US and pay it there? Is that possible? Since as i know citibank is origin from the US. why still bother to use Citibank Malaysia Credit card? likes other mention, no point doing it as Bank is separate entity. best is open an US account when u reach in USA, n use the ATM card there lo... i thinks their debit card is as good as credit card for USA domestic usage lo... btw, 1 Questions, you just 21, n got no income, guess using supplementary card from parent, why u worry about ur bill? |

AMEX is one of the companies that offer credit card to student, even if they have no stable salary (just part-time). Citibank Singapore has one such credit card as well.QUOTE(David83 @ Nov 4 2008, 07:45 PM) I don't see why you can't login from overseas. It defeats the purpose of Internet banking right? Just my two cents. I tried to access my PBeBanking from my hotel room at Meritus Mandarin Hotel Singapore in Orchard Road many times but failed. Then a few days later i tried again at Changi Terminal 2 while waiting for my flight back to Kuala Lumpur and again wasn't successful. This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Nov 4 2008, 10:14 PM |

Every1,
im just loving it. Carrefour Wangsa Maju have changed their terminal merchant to Maybank... and use their visa-wave, it's more faster than the previous bank and surprisingly, today so many people is lining up for payment than previous weekdays. i thinks Maybank Super Rebates of 10% on Tuesday is very sucessful, while other days 5%. ![]() ![]() |

Especially if you have applied for it. The rules is probably different if the bank sends you an unsolicited card that you did not apply. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OK ... if your friend has really applied for the card and now changed her mind then by all means cancel the card. (Got a sample cancellation letter in the 1st post of this thread) You need to send in a letter for the purpose as if I'm not mistaken RHB won't accept verbal cancellation. Can you be more specific about the rumours about the problem ? Actually no card product is free from problems. If you are asking me about my personal experience with RHB cards ... I find the CS to be slow and unfriendly. Not something that I want to worry about as I use my card while travelling - I had a bad experience while I was overseas (Not RHB) due to unresponsive CS. Foreign banks ? I had a bad experience with Citibank b4 and local banks as well. My advise is that different people have different needs when it comes to cc products - don't always listen to what people says. Experience it yourself and find that cc product which suits you best. Nothing is for permanent as CS levels/bank service qualities will change from time to time.
