The concept shouldn't pass the card to the cashier but somehow, they may ask for it.

Spending behaviour and payment history are some of the consideration factors.

Anyone saw the recent ad in the papers for CIMB World Mastercard ? It is by invitation only but no info on this product in CIMB's website.

I asked a HSBC's RM today on the local MC Premier status as a World Mastercard but received a "Huh?" and "Where did you get that info ?" reply.

That's because HSBC Malaysia issued Premier Mastercard is not a World Mastercard, not yet anyway.

Anyone know bout Affinbank 9.99% p.a for CC?
Seems that the requirement is we have to pay atleast the minimum payment each month on time to be eligible...

any Affin CC user?
How does it really work?
Pay on time this month then they automatically rebate? From what i read from their website, seems like they charge 18% p.a first and then only rebate if we are prompt paymaster... hmm.. still wondering how it works exactly...

Hi all, I would like to ask u all a question.

3 weeks ago, I've applied for the citibank shell cc. On last week, citibank called me to get my home phone number. Then, another agent called me and asked for my hp, office number and also my address. The 3rd time, another agent called to my office number and asked for my job position, which bank that my salary bank into....

I'm just a fresh graduate, and some of my friends who applied for citibank cc as well, all got rejected. So, I just want to know, whether or not they will approve my application since they've called me for few times?

For everyone's info, if you are holding a Direct Access card, you will not be considered eligible to apply for CIMB Petronas. This was told to me by the processing officer today.

I like everything about CIMB DA card except one thing...i found that most of those 0% installment flexi pay plans out there include most cards like MBB, HSBC, Citi BUT NOT CIMB DA. What the.....%@^$#^%$..I don't like the fact that I have to purposely apply for another card just to enjoy these services..DA certainly have to beef up in this area...

Eg. If you plan to purchase from Dell, HP etc online using your DA card, so sorry..no 0% flexi plan for you...! It's either you pay one lump sum..or apply another card

so, I you want to enjoy these services with a free card, might as well apply for cards like MBB Petronas card...

However, thumbs up to DA for their service during the application process, I got my card in just 5 days..but disappointed as I couldn't use it for what I planned..so guess I'll just throw it aside and after some time consider terminating the subscription...

For any purchase using DA Credit Card.
Just call the Customer care to tell them which payment you want to be made into 0% Interest (but pay one-time admin fee..it's exactly the same like interest but termed differently)

I don't think so.....better call Citibank.
My bet that they would advise you to keep an account in M'sia for transferring of payment.
Because even banks have branches any where in the world, it's still considered as separate entity.

boon, its not possible to do that. Its different company (citibank malaysia is not citibank US).

They cant do that for you. Unless you are a platinum holder and citigold member... then they can do that for you... with conditions of cuz...

Yeah that's what I meant. wink.gif
Most probably they would ask them to retain Malaysia banking account i.e. saving or current with internet facility for transferring of money from those banks to pay off citibank outstanding.
