As is know Maybank need to charge 5% for EzyPay. How about other?? Any credit card provided 0% interest and no charges for processing fees ??

They wont bother with a card that is less than 1 year old.

then just apply for any card and use for 1 year. after this only use it to apply another card.

hi fren

just wanna share new products

hi

user posted image

its specialty:

1. no compounding element....
outstanding will charge one time only... if got new amount of outstanding, will charge separately.. which mean no interest on interest anymore...

2. takaful dan khairat....
if d card holder died, outstanding will be waived and received sum of money known as 'khairat' or donation..

3. rebate...
if shows good payment, bank will give some rebate

6. annual fee??
free for life.. no need to worry swipe once or twice...

7.umrah / holiday ~~~~~ most interesting...... rclxm9.gif
every RM10 get 1 point.. ( 1point=RM1 ).....
u pay petrol at least rm10/day... a year would be rm3600, u already accumulated 360 points just
buying petrol.... if including other expenses?? more point u'll get...

bank rakyat may not famous and hi standard as HSBC or CITIBANK....
but if u revise all CC T&C u may found out bank rakyat CC quite good meh..

PM me for details

Great to see you around here biggrin.gif

For your questions, for the security device ... you'll get in on the spot. Do remember to bring your cc to the bank as well when you make that trip.

Actually MBB charges around RM70 for the EzyPay which this fee is bourne by the merchant. All the cc will still charge you for this facility but it's the matter of whether it'll be charged to the consumer or bourne by the merchant.

My friend ... if you are the agent for this card ... appreciate the info that you are providing but please there's another section if you intend to advertise your services. My comment for this card is CS efficiency would be untested. Personally I'm not very optimistic since I have unkind words due my previous experience with the bank officer's before where the the officer actually threatens and shouted at me over the phone just because I choose to made payment via the counter instead of autodebiting my salary.

Plus, the many people that work with this bank are not customer oriented (got a few exceptions but rare) and the speed that they do things is .... will put them to shame as compared to the local anchor banks and need I compare to the foreign banks ?

Others
- No platinum card
- How to pay for the card given the lack of access to the branches.
- Possible (highly likely) slow service at the counter. (I experience this many times)
- Untested CS responsiveness, helpfullness and accessibility.

I don't think Maybank charges that. I believe it's up to merchant. So far, for the two EPP I did with MBB CC, they charged me with the displayed price. Another guess is that the displayed price has included that fee or the merchant absorbed it.

I'm the regular guy around here so u can say u can refer to me on this subject anytime. (Like u r the expect on the other subject)
U r right on the spot for Citibank when it comes to buying things online. Just to add ... don't get too excited coz the additional security requires the merchant to implement it on their website as well. There are sites which will not ask that additional Verified by VISA or SecureCode by Mastercard but it all depends whether you feel secure or not to proceed. For example (if I didn't get this wrong) - if you were to pay for your Maxis bill via MaxisOnline - you won't be asked the "security" questions but it does not necessarily mean that your cc details are vulnerable.

My take is that ... just be very aware when you use your card online. Most merchants should be OK and they have put in some investments to protect their customers for online transactions. However, there are the occasional merchants which you feel unsafe. The general rule of thumb ... if you feel unsafe then don't proceed.

Oh yes ... HSBC are great @ helping you if you ever encounter any bad cc transactions. I once had a double posting by the merchant and they got it resolved in less than 7 days after I send in the dispute form. No hassles or "I have to prove to you that I'm not bluffing you to dispute this transaction" attitude.

That day I was approached by a RHB salas girl at Carrefour. Not interested with it since I'm satisfied with MBB.

I believe the security device is only for their internet banking services.
Citi uses a pop up screen to deter from keylogger software. However the flaw is ppl can see what you clicked. After that, they would have 1 question (you have to register 3 questionnaire first time register) to answer before they completely verify your identity.
HSBC uses security device, the same for OCBC on top of the usual password keying.

One doesn't need the security device in order to make internet transactions from their credit card. However, HSBC had another round of security when purchasing online whereby the transaction would be directed to a HSBC secured server to once again verify the details of the cards. That's why I prefer using my HSBC card to do online transactions.

It depends to see whether or not you're eligible for additional limit. If you are, they might split the limit or they could even upgrade your limit and both card share the same limit. It's up to you.

For my case, I used to have share limit; than they noticed I only uses my Master, so they split out the limit for my Master to give me additional limit while retaining the same limit which I originally have on the Visa. Subsequent upgrade on limit would be on my Master while I still retain the limit for my Visa as the first time they gave me. So I basically got more than 100% upgrade on my original limit.

I went to the branch, filled the form and got the device on the spot.

The security token is mainly for HSBC Internet banking.

Hi guys, want to ask for opinion.
Im using citibank gold card now (+-2 years), and last saturday i received a citibank letter saying they upgrading my card to Platinum. I kind of hesitate because the annual fee is quite alot (RM600). Want to know whether if platinum card is worth it and if anyone received this kind of offer before. And is there a way to dodge those annual payment?
