Direct Access is the fastest, sent it to me within 1 week
Slowest is EON bank took almost 2 months

I agree with you as I got my DA cards 1 week after submitting application form to CIMB branch.

I have just been informed by my frens working in Maybank that the 5X Treats Points for Petronas will be extended to December 31 2008. The announcement will be made soon thru M2U and inserts in the credit card statements.
*
Hmmm then I'll wait for MBB to announce it and then apply it when I see MBB booth in malls tongue.gif

*
You mean newer CCs no more fees? Then mind to tell whether you work in local or international bank?

my streamyx is good and no problems.

Hi vin_ann, did you installed/activated any antivirus or firewall recently?

I'm not sure if this is the cause. As I could not go into Citibank Malaysia website from my home PC. But I able to go in with office PC.

The product itself is called Direct Access credit card for graduates. One of the application requirement requires the applicant to submit their degree cert. Check it out here for the full application requirement Direct Access Requirement

No offense to anyone.
*
How about DA Plat? Does it require a degree cert too?

I can't do Funds Transfer even with DA Credit Card and CIMB Bank account registered under CIMBclicks... what else is needed ?
*
Guess you will need to use the login which is registered with your CIMB bank account ATM card.

Not sure why CIMB is not able to have multiple bank accounts and cards under 1 user login... doh.gif

Then basically, it's not worth it to use CIMB Clicks with DA cards if you don't have CIMB accounts?
*
You still be able to view your DA cards transaction online even though you do not have banking account with them.

You know what's so funny? While I can get a CL like that from HSBC, Citibank rejected my application for a basic AirAsia card outright just because I'm a freelancer - 2 total extremes! blink.gif
*
perhaps you can try to apply for citibank cc with your existing cc?

Perhaps you've get used to your credit card? Debit Card need to pay to use unfortunately. PBB Charge RM12p.a. , Some other ridiculous banks charge up to RM24 p.a.

Because if one have bad credit or do not have stable income or do not have any income, but need to have the convenience of being cashless, then debit card is the only way.
*
Well I think it depends on which debit card. PBB Visa Electron - RM24 p.a.
I'm currently using PBB TARC Debit Mastercard which is free for life.

I'm only on regular Gold card, not even platinum. I spend less than RM10k each month with a credit limit of maybe RM15k (can't recall) so I'm small peanuts to banks biggrin.gif Come to think of it, I don't have any Platinum cards. And it feels good biggrin.gif
*
lol, based on what you said, I don't think any bank wants me as their customer since i only spend around rm500 monthly out of my 6k credit limit biggrin.gif

Thanks.

Yeap. You need to photocopy that. Just photocopy both sides for safe.
*
But if we give both sides, our credit card might be used by others for online transaction?
