You should be able to get the instalment plan

Perhaps you miss their call when they attempt to call you but you can actually call Citibank and ask CS to verify this flexi plan. Unless this is done ... the transaction is deemed unconfirmed and will be rejected. You don't have to go through this verification with MBB-Flexi plan. Oh yes ... make sure you have enough credit limit to cover the transaction as the entire amount will be taken out from your CL. (If not enough then sure reject ) Don't worry, it is still an installment plan and the CL will be returned to you as and when you make payment for your Dell-Citibank flexi plan. I suggest you to call Citibank to verify this transaction and then Dell to inform them that the transaction is now OK. Errr ... BTW .... if that's you in the avatar ... can I get to know you ?

Yes ... it is a higher grade than Platinum (Infinite is VISA's version). You need to have min RM200K in total deposits/investments with HSBC. If you want an intro ... PM me. You qualify for HSBC Premier if you maintain an average monthly Total Relationship Balance of RM200,000 or more, which includes your Premier Savings, FlexiTime Deposit, Unit Trusts and Structured Investments at HSBC. Should your average Total Relationship Balance drop below RM200,000, a Below Balance Fee of RM150 will be applied for the month.

I was thinking that the total amount of the item purchased will be spreaded out in 12 months and by that my credit limit is sufficient. then i was informed that its insufficient as they freezed my credit limit.sighss.anyway guys.thankssss.. hye. ur kinda direct.arent u? hahahahahaha and yes thats me..

Out of curiousity, I checked out the minimum income requirement to be eligible for a CC for the major banks and to my surprise, Maybank's the highest - 30k annual income for classic/standard. Has it always been like this or did they raise the bar during last year or so?

**0.5% Rebate on other retail transaction

Any CIMB Petronas users? Which outlets we can get the extra 0.5% rebates?

But indeed MBB and HSBC card requirement are higher a bit than other bank ( correct me if wrong ).

Which outlets we can get the extra 0.5% rebates? It means that the 0.5% rebate is applicable for any other purchases that is not Petronas related. This can means your groceries @ Jusco, your new table @ Ikea, new ps3 @ SonyWings, etc. Added on October 4, 2008, 9:26 amQUOTE(Reventon @ Oct 4 2008, 02:29 AM) i saw it too and sometime i think it is just a plain " requirement " and when the bank issue the card , i dont see they have any difference on the CL with other bank. But indeed MBB and HSBC card requirement are higher a bit than other bank ( correct me if wrong ). I don't know about MBB but I do know that HSBC is pickier on approving their cc applications. However, the minimum requirements for an entry level cc is the same for all banks as this is the BNM requirement me thinks. It's just that these banks practices a more stringent approving criterias.
