I wonder which banks offer 0% instalment plan for retail purchases through any merchants?

Eon Bank offers 7% one-time handling charges for 3 years.

Besides Eon Bank, any banks?

Got. But mine didn't got charge for annual fee. I didn't call them waiver.

Stranger. Maybe as what they said previously, mine is a Flex.

Maybank Flex is free for life unlike Normal Classic

Usually it will be atleast 2 days...unless both party of the bank have some agreement/close.

Not exactly 2 days... if you do the transaction from M2U before 12 noon, then the money will be in the other bank account the next day (eg: you transfer on 11am Monday and the money will be in Tuesday)... however if you do it after 12 noon, then the money will only be in the other bank account the day after next (eg: you transfer 1pm Monday, the money will be in Wednesday)... that's what had happened to me last time anyway...

I'm a newbie and just wanted to ask a few things concerning DA cards...

How long does it take to get the pin number for DA cards after you have submitted the form anyway?

When you get the pin number you can register to access CIMB clicks right?

What kind of 'transaction' can you do using CIMB Clicks with DA cards anyway?

Guess you will need to use the login which is registered with your CIMB bank account ATM card.

Not sure why CIMB is not able to have multiple bank accounts and cards under 1 user login... doh.gif

Then basically, it's not worth it to use CIMB Clicks with DA cards if you don't have CIMB accounts?

That's the only thing you can do.

Not sure if the same for M2U. CC account without any saving/current account.
*
Does it apply to DA or all CC by CIMB?

As for M2U, can anyone clarify is it the same?

ush~ i hav receive my DA credit card.. can i choose x to activate it first. since the xpire period is 2013...

do i juz call up to activate when i need to? do i need to request anything after tat?

how does the secure e-pay works? can register upon activation or can register straight away witout activation?

and for the ATM usage, can i apply for the pin to be send by calling the cs.. or do i need to mail the form provided?

btw~ i received 2 cards. i only intend to activate 1.. which 1 recomemnded most? my sole purpose is to pay my CPA fees online..

thanks
*
if you don't call them, they will call you to ask whether you have received the cards or not and they will ask to activate it on the spot...

you only have to register at their website in order to activate the secure e-pay, only then the cards can be used for online transaction... and from my experience you need to ask cs the date for the bills also since the secure e-pay activation will request for it...

for the atm pin, i tried asking cs if i can get it without sending the form but they said cannot, must send the form only then will get...

for DA, it seemed that only mastercard is useful since using mastercard will get you the 2% petrol rebate but not the visa card... you can activate both but you don't have to use both since the cards are free for life without any pre-requisite requirement

*

I like everything about CIMB DA card except one thing...i found that most of those 0% installment flexi pay plans out there include most cards like MBB, HSBC, Citi BUT NOT CIMB DA. What the.....%@^$#^%$..I don't like the fact that I have to purposely apply for another card just to enjoy these services..DA certainly have to beef up in this area...

Eg. If you plan to purchase from Dell, HP etc online using your DA card, so sorry..no 0% flexi plan for you...! It's either you pay one lump sum..or apply another card

so, I you want to enjoy these services with a free card, might as well apply for cards like MBB Petronas card...

However, thumbs up to DA for their service during the application process, I got my card in just 5 days..but disappointed as I couldn't use it for what I planned..so guess I'll just throw it aside and after some time consider  terminating the subscription...

Actually DA do have soemthing like that and it's called iPay Plan... it's only until December 2008 but it's a start... you see all the info here
